Pretty excited to remind you, that tomorrow there will be a #TerraClassic chain upgrade, which fixes a critical security vulnerability. I just wanted to give you a quick lookout and timeline on the maintenance work coming after that upgrade. Basically, a short term mini-plan for the chain core around the EOY: 1.) Upgrade to v4.0.1-patch.3 on 24th of September at around 17:45 GMT+2. 2.) @cosmoslabs_io will disclose the security vulnerability on 28th of September. 3.) The disclosed mainline will be released via an optionally installable binary v4.0.2 end of September / start of October. 4.) Today I reviewed und vetted a couple of pull request that fix some issues - also a relatively pressing issue that is blocking a jailed validator from unjailing. 5.) Mid October / End of October there will be a mandatory release that reconciles all of these PRs into a new release binary v4.1.0. Also, after that I expect that there will be an audit of the chain core, which is currently being organized and will be voted on through governance relatively soon. Beautiful... I just opened an IBC connection between Terra Classic and @injective and transferred USDC.inj to our lovely lady terra-luna:native. In parallel I also opened PR to cosmos chain registry to register the channel and update the chains assetlist. Cross chain transfers on @keplrwallet already working, which means the connection was already picked up by Skip API. Transfers on Skip functioning as well. This means, that in the next days the multisig signers of the 12171 liquidity initiative can already start rehearsing the full flow within the next few days. Yikes, more work 😆 #blamefrag
