In 2024, we checked. It's fool's gold. 🪨
In 2020, Jena Griswold told Coloradans that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth were "stripped from the unit before use" on our voting systems.
So in 2024, we started digging. Here's what our investigation found:
🗳️ Douglas County: we scanned more than 85,000 paper ballots. The ballots themselves checked out. The problems were in the system around them.
🔍 Wireless networking cards were physically installed in voting computers in 12 Colorado counties. Purchase orders and county clerks confirmed it. One clerk admitted it was "a known thing amongst the counties."
🔑 More than 600 BIOS passwords for Colorado's voting equipment sat on the Secretary of State's own website. For MONTHS.
📬 We audited undeliverable ballots in nine counties, matching the Post Office invoices that are supposed to go to county clerks against the counties' own counts. 30,000 undeliverable ballots were unaccounted for.
📋 Dirty voter rolls, full of people who shouldn't still be on them.
📹 Unmonitored drop boxes, with cameras that can't tell you who dropped off a ballot or how many.
✍️ Signature verification, the main safeguard on a mail ballot, has never been proven to work in Colorado.
🔒 And no independent audits. Nobody outside the Secretary of State's office checks any of it. The system grades its own homework.
None of this came from the people in charge. It came from citizens who asked questions and wouldn't take "trust us" for an answer.
That was two years ago. Ballots for 2026 are in your mailbox right now. Has anyone in charge explained any of this?

Anything you paste in an AI chat, any matter you spell out in Claude 'Co-work', is subpoena-able.
Admirably, Claude is the first to warn you of this, if you ask explicitly.
Because you are spelling out certain matters you are bringing to AI, of course you are not plotting an illegal act.
But what you are doing is doing something on which you can be called to explain later by any law enforcement adjacent entity you care to imagine: This includes a conversation with detectives downtown, with IRS investigators over an audit, you name the nightmare.
Do you want to be called upon to explain any & every inconsistency in your recollection of a matter years in the past?
AI creates that record that does not go away.
You can be put on a witness stand and asked why there is a 1% difference between your later version of events and what you contemporaneously wrote into an AI chat window.
One solution: AI itself emphasizes you must make recordation of events as they happen in your own log, spreadsheet, journal or diary.
Do not suppose you can recall contemporaneous acts later, for indeed such can be impossible. That simply is not how the human mind works.
This is the nature of AI usage: It is an entirely new attack vector upon the private citizen.

It is rare that I see something on Denver’s City Council agenda that makes me sick to my stomach. I often have policy disagreements, I often think we’re moving in the wrong direction.
The proposal to read this Labor Acknowledgement before every City Council meeting is a wholesale rejection of the metaphysics of the United States of America, just like the Land Acknowledgement adopted several years ago.
If Council adopts this, they are taking a revolutionary stance against and are rejecting the founding ideas of the U.S.A. and our constitutional republic.
Just what do I mean?
The ontology (roughly, a view of the nature of being) of the Declaration boldly states that we are all created equal, that our rights are unalienable—they exist by virtue of our creation (and/or natural law). They are not granted by identity group, past historical wrongs, nor the majority (or collective).
Our government was constituted to protect those unalienable individual rights to life, liberty, property, pursuit of happiness, freedom of religion. Our government’s just power rests on the consent of the governed (not a monarchy’s bloodline, or anything else).
We have individual agency and responsibility; we do not bear collective nor historical guilt.
The Constitution is written to codify this precious, moral, and radical ontology and is designed to provide checks and balances on power. We have equal protection under the law, the Bill of Rights.
Why is the Labor (and Land) Acknowledgment a Rejection of the Founding and our constitutional republic?
Because it asserts a fundamentally different metaphysics.
It claims that every citizen of Denver, our country, today and since the founding is irreparably and collectively stained, who we are, what we have built, all of our history through this moment is reducible to the ill-gotten fruits of slavery and racial discrimination.
In this claim, it rejects the Founding ontology. That people were enslaved when the Declaration was written does not make the those self-evident truths false. Rather, the existence of slavery and the inability to abolish it outright was a moral failing of the people of the day that was rectified through bloodshed and sacrifice in the Civil War.
The Labor (and Land) Acknowledgement advances a theology of racial guilt and collective, inherited sin that requires weekly confession and atonement by our elected representatives before they conduct their official duties! It embeds the notion that the past is ever-present and must be repaired (@Ne_pas_couvrir )!
Denver City Council must reject this proposal and repeal the Land Acknowledgement and affirm the self-evident truths of the Declaration of Independence.
Enough of this subversion. Enough.

I am becoming persuaded that a government striving to enfeeble its population must necessarily use, above all, its currency to achieve this goal.
The Treasury Secretary's comments last week make it clear that the federal government intends to print money to solve its prolific spending problem.
The dollar is of absolutely limitless supply.
I am looking for alternatives that are not dollar denominated and this includes gold.
As well, of late, I am opening my mind to consider Bitcoin.
This, because it has an issuance limited to 21 Million Bitcoin.
It appreciates in value in large part because of this delimited supply.
The federal government claims the dollar is only inflating around the 4% per annum mark.
Everyone but mendacious government statisticians knows inflation is closer to 10% per year.
This, once one actually adds back in all those most expensive people need: This includes energy and housing costs.
We need to be looking for investment alternatives--for stores of value--outside the dollar.
Since 1914, the dollar has lost 98% of its value.
To pay off its debts on the cheap, the federal government appears to now pursue a policy of printing money until today's dollar is only worth 2% of its current value.
It is time to open up our thinking on what our alternatives are.
