He’s not “weak” on crime or “soft” on crime. The GOP has got to drop this ridiculous language. The communists are PRO-crime. Pro rape. Pro murder. They WANT these things to happen.
The Travis County DA is pathetically weak on crime, leaving victims with no justice. Any DA that has policies of not prosecuting must be removed from office. As AG a top priority of mine will be to grow the prosecutorial powers of the office to act when local DA’s refuse to do so

Like saying Biden was "weak on the border." No, he did exactly what was intended.

Simply saying they are the “party of lawlessness” is not enough to convince anyone of anything these days

@chiproytx would have made a far better AG, but the Texas establishment didn't want a real fighter in that office that knows what time it is.

The right is quick to assume everything the left does is out of incompetence when there's clear intent behind. What this tells me is that they don't understand their enemy very well.

The way to stop this is at the state level You have to strip local prosecutors of discretion and force them to bring certain types of cases It makes small-govt conservatives feel icky, but it must be done

Most in the GOP are scared of the media being mean to them, so they won’t do that.

Exactly correct, the communists love it when high trust society law and order is ignored and burned to the ground with innocent people hurt or killed. The scum doing the hurting, killing, cheating, stealing are communist heroes to be celebrated, protected, promoted. Think Tim Walz, Keith Ellison, Jack White, the list goes on and on. We are at war and the sooner patriots come to grips with that, the better.

So many DAs in Texas are Soros funded. Their mission is to destroy Texas. Dumbass liberals in the burbs keep asking for more of it too! Truth is crime is coming for them too. Not just cities anymore.

The both Schvitz were able to finagle the Ukrainian government to open its prisons of anarchist and these were the people that contributed to the Boljević Revolution. They love criminals. They love to destroy Christian countries and they love to so chaos.

weak on crime means lackadaisical effort to find perpretrators -- PRO-crime means knowing who committed the crime and rewarding the criminal while punishing the victim -- ergo, punishing rape victims and letting the rapist go free

Hopefully residents in Round Rock Texas are waking up about now. Getting your throat slit in a public park tends to do that. The white liberal women will be the last to wake up I'm guessing.

He’s not soft on crime because he doesn’t think there’s any crime taking place. It’s a choice over enforcement. Every dem attorney has a way to justify or excuse criminality.

The probelm is that the normies reject that because they don't think those DAs etc. could be so evil.

When one of your parties goals (unwritten) is to institute a police state, you need to promote high crime to make society very dangerous so the masses cry for the government to “do something”.

Exactly. Same goes for how the democrats spend money. The GOP loves to paint the democrats as incompetent, they just don’t understand economics. In reality the democrats successfully extract billions from hardworking Americans and give it to their friends and cronies.

He should be removed from office. But instead we have Republican state reps complaining about Flock cameras, which have caught criminals from Austin in adjacent counties, who voted to get rid of AG Paxton.

Why do our leaders not use blunt language to describe reality? Why always adopt the left’s narratives and framing and vocabulary?

Lots of books back this up. The New Criminology (1973) by Taylor, Walton, and Young is the foundational text of Critical Criminology. The Marxist authors argue that crime is a rational or inevitable reaction to the inequalities of a capitalist social structure.
