El-Sayed: Iranians have to liberate themselves. Tens of thousands dead, unarmed - and still no intervention. Well, let them do it on their own. Okay. Then the same applies to Gaza. Internal problem. Not our job. No pressure on Israel. No “Free Palestine” demonstrations. No moral outsourcing to Berlin, London or Dearborn. If you want to “liberate” yourself, do it yourself. Or live with the status quo. What applies to Iran also applies to Gaza. Anything else is selective.

This man isn't asking @AbdulElSayed to support regime change. He is asking Abdul to condemn the Ayatollah Khameini and the IRGC who killed 50,000 protesters in Iran. "You still haven't said it. We are dying by the IRGC. Do you stand with us?" Abdul can't say he stands with them.

People didn't believe that the Nazis wanted to exterminate all Jews. They didn't believe it. The alternative, wrong explanations (that killing Jews was Hitler's way to gain populist power in a bad economy) were common in the contemporary press, and they are still common in today's political discourse. The Nazis didn't have a minister who made an angry comment after a massacre of German civilians. They had a plan for a Final Solution to wipe out Jews, because that was the core element of Nazism. That is why Raphael Lemkin created a new word. Not to describe the world that was erased. But to correctly name why the Nazis stamped it out. Abdul El-Sayed says he has learned history. Yet he compares a war Hamas started by massacring Jews to the genocide that almost destroyed our people. The comparison only shows how different the two are.

If you watch the full interview, you’ll see Scott Galloway and Jessica Tarlov both try and give Abdul the opportunity to win over them and their audiences. Abdul played the role of a condescending asshole well. It’s a shame.

El-Sayed proves his incompetence to be Senator. Not only did Israel not "deliberately target" civilians, it went to greater lengths to move civilians out of harm's way than any army has done before. If Israel had deliberately targeted civilians, given IDF's military capability, the death toll would be 20 times higher. And every single non-emergency strike was approved by IDF lawyers, who wouldn't approve strikes that target civilians if they were proposed. Hospitals and schools are legitimate military targets when they are being used for military purposes. And finally, even if you added up all of El-Sayed's charges and they weren't all lies, that doesn't amount to genocide without the intent to destroy the group in question.

Jews as myself need to understand that the use of the word genocide by the likes of El Sayed is not just name calling. They want to set up an imperative for exterminating Jews everywhere—including the U.S. Gentiles need to understand that they want you to do their dirty job for them.
