Canada resident breaks down in tears because he life may be over, “I'm about to be a victim of the Canadian healthcare system” She has cancer. She did everything she was asked to including Chemo, additional tests and seeing the multiple specialists required for surgery. Unfortunately because the way healthcare works in Canada, the process took so long that her tumor has now spread and she’s no longer a candidate for surgery “ These past five weeks of having to go through the system, waiting for appointments, waiting for diagnostic imaging, waiting for results and reports, my tumor has spread way too far — They let me sit there for two months with no treatment — this is the system that we live in” What’s crazy is I found this is not uncommon in Canada, and can actually even take much longer than this On the faster end for high priority major cancer it takes 6–12 weeks from the “we think we can operate” meeting to the OR, plus 4–8 weeks of extra tests beforehand 3- 6 months of sequential waits Slower provinces can take 6–12 months or more. Quebec’s public lists show thousands waiting for obstetric, gynecologic surgery. The lists show hundreds of people already past 6–12 months mark in waiting We do not want universal healthcare like this in America This is what liberals are fighting for

My college roommate Dave had zero survival instincts but massive panic response. Back in 2021 when people were freaking out about supply chain shortages, he panicked and ordered a 50-pound industrial sack of dry pinto beans from a restaurant depot website. The sack arrived. Dave had never cooked a bean in his life. He read online that you have to soak them in water overnight, so he dumped the entire 50-pound bag into our communal plastic storage bin, dragged it into the hallway, filled it with water from the shower head, and went to sleep. At around 3:45 AM, we woke up to what sounded like a wet bomb going off. Beans expand when they soak. Dave did not account for bean volume physics. The plastic bin had exploded under the sheer pressure of 50 pounds of hydrated legumes. I walked out into the hall and it was just ankle-deep in cold, slimy, swollen pinto beans stretching from our front door to the kitchen. Dave was standing there in his boxers holding a soup ladle, completely frozen, looking at me like he had just accidentally summoned an ancient deity. The apartment smelled like raw starch until we moved out in May.

Exhibit #26 why I’m taking my kids and tax dollars and GTFO New York: Students aren’t meeting the standard, so New York is eliminating the standard. In the name of “equity.” (NY circled below.)
🧵TODAY: New York has decided it will no longer require high schoolers to pass Regents exams to graduate Goes into effect for the Class of 2028

Anthropic’s Head of Personality Alignment, Amanda Askell, argued that discrimination against white students “may be desirable” as a way of correcting historical injustice. This is coming from one of the most prominent people working on AI alignment. Let that sink in.

A 3-year-old boy was sitting in a shopping cart. His mom was loading groceries. A woman walked up with a stolen knife and stabbed him in the face and back. It took less than five seconds. Julian Wood died in the hospital. Then she smiled in court. Not once. While the judge read the charges. While the father stood a few feet away and called her a monster. A grocery worker later said she was smiling at the scene too. This is not a movie. This is Ohio. A parking lot on a Monday afternoon. People love talking about “coexistence.” They love talking about compassion. They love talking about second chances. Fine. Explain this one. A child is dead. The person who did it grinned through the arraignment. You can dress that up with mental health language. You can call it random. You can say it has nothing to do with who a country lets in, who it releases, and who it pretends it can manage. But a society that cannot look at a smirk like that and say “this person does not belong among us” is a society that has already given up on its own children. Coexistence is not a slogan. It is a bet. And some bets get a 3-year-old killed in a grocery cart. x.com/SamuraiShibaJP/status/…

A Hero That Trusted His Intuition. The problem wasn’t that Morgan Stanley didn’t believe him. Rick Rescorla had already been right once. After the 1993 basement bombing of the World Trade Center, the firm’s security chief walked the towers, studied the site, and reached a conclusion most people preferred not to hear: the World Trade Center was still a target. Next time, he said, it would not be a truck. It would be an airplane. An airplane. In a 1993 report. Executives listened. Then they looked at the lease. Morgan Stanley was the largest tenant in the complex—twenty-two floors of the South Tower, thousands of brokers, and a trading infrastructure that could not be packed into boxes and wheeled across the Hudson. They literally made it a trading center. The contract with the Port Authority ran until 2006. Walking away from premium Manhattan space of that scale would have meant penalties measured in the hundreds of millions, plus the operational chaos of relocating an entire downtown machine. So the company stayed. Rescorla adjusted. If they could not leave the building, they would learn to escape it. He built a protocol and treated it like doctrine. Unannounced drills. No exemptions. Brokers who billed by the minute were pulled off their desks and sent into the stairwells two by two, starting from the top floors, leaving a lane for firefighters coming the other way. People complained. He did not care. Practice, he believed, was the only thing that would beat panic. On the morning of September 11, 2001, American Airlines Flight 11 hit the North Tower. From the 44th floor of the South Tower, Rescorla could see the fire. Then the Port Authority came over the speakers: the South Tower was secure. Stay at your desks. Rescorla grabbed a bullhorn and ignored them. He started the drill his people already knew by heart. Floor by floor, two by two, down the stairs. He sang as he moved—Cornish songs from childhood, then “God Bless America”—keeping the line moving, refusing to let the stairwell become a stampede. Seventeen minutes later, the second plane struck the South Tower. By then, most of Morgan Stanley was already on the way out. Of the 2,687 employees in the building that morning, all but 13 survived. It was stunning. Rescorla could have been outside with them. He went back up instead. Colleagues told him to leave. He said he would, as soon as he was sure no one was left behind. He was last seen around the 10th floor, heading higher. The South Tower fell at 9:59 a.m. They never found him. He was one of the 13. He was a hero in every sense of the word. Remember Rick Rescorla, he remembered for us.

CC @FBI — what is this?
Hasan Piker tells his followers suicide bombing is dead, buy Shahed drones instead. "Just make f**king drones. You can purchase them from online marketplaces. China literally sells explosive ordnance delivery mechanisms that you can put on a DJI drone. You can buy them at virtually no significant cost..."

You subhuman fucking retard celebrated the murder of a new mother because she was a middle manager at Bank of America and now your defense is "I didn't know the facts, it's not my fault?" You are a 52-year-old single woman with no children celebrating murder victims with retarded Luigi Mangioni memes. The world would be a better place if you were dead instead of Erin Piacenti, since unlike her, nobody has ever or will ever love you, which is why you are a dried up, aging skank without a family Erin Piacenti lived a fuller life in 32 years than you did in 50+ because unlike you people actually cared about her and would have felt sad if she suddenly had a heart attack alone in her empty, loveless apartment and was eaten by her cats

What an absolute bombshell of testicular firepower from the MAGA White House, mostly the work of @StephenM and his immigration cleanup team across DHS - @Ilhan Omar directly told by the White House nobody at DHS/HSI will listen to her and that ICE is actively investigating her - USCIS sends a demand letter to universities about their CPT programs and what jobs/roles the students were assigned and how they fit to their degree plans. In direct response to the inquiries, at least a dozen CPT programs across the country including popular ones at UC Berkeley, Purdue and UC Davis close their CPT program for this academic term. - USCIS + State roll out two compensation fees that will STOP the visa hopping between F-1 and H-1B entirely - State + USCIS + HSI together will be nuking over 200,000 tourist visas because the applicants came over and then filed bullshit asylum claims Almost 500,000 Indians will be wiped out just from what was announced in the past 72 hours. It also dissuades hundreds of thousands of more Indians from even attempting to file petitions, knowing the US will gladly take the money for the apps and then deny them.

Correct…I would say multiple generations
Anyone still pretending that an entire generation of young White men has not been systematically excluded from vast swaths of jobs, professions, industries, and institutions is either hopelessly uninformed or deliberately lying.
