Two years ago today Hurricane Helene brought unimaginable destruction to western NC and surrounding areas. I couldn’t be more thankful for the 35,000 volunteers who answered the call to mud out flooded houses, remove debris, and help hurting families in Jesus’ Name. Since then, @SamaritansPurse has provided new homes, vehicles, bridges, driveways, furniture, repaired churches, and more. There’s still much work ahead, but we thank God for each person we are able to help and for all those who have prayed, given, and partnered with us.

Two years ago, Hurricane Helene hit the High Country of western North Carolina, causing catastrophic damage. Thousands of lives were turned upside down. Samaritan's Purse responded immediately to help residents in Jesus' Name.
