India needs a ministry of compute. Like ministry of oil, we need laser-focus from the top to build compute necessary for participating in the future economy. Otherwise, we will repeat in a decade what we’re doing now: spending expensive forex for importing what we don’t have.

Shocking assault on the brave, virtuous & highly successful leader of the opposition the Rt Hon’ble Shri Rahul Gandhi ji.
Rahul Gandhi’s Rise. Congress’s Decline. Congress won ZERO out of 28 MLC seats. Earlier this month, it drew a blank in five Assembly bypolls, suffered defeats in university elections, including DUSU, and took a major hit in Rajasthan’s civic polls. Meanwhile, the bigger picture remains unchanged: 2008: Congress 1,182 | BJP 889 2013: Congress 1,101 | BJP 891 2017: Congress 807 | BJP 1,365 2024: Congress 654 | BJP 1,588 2026: Congress 663 | BJP 1,818 As Rahul Gandhi rose through the party ranks, the BJP’s Assembly tally more than doubled, while Congress’s fell by over 500 seats. Instead of building a winning political organisation, Congress has spent much of its energy protesting over “Vote Chori” and targeting constitutional institutions. The results speak for themselves. You cannot build an electoral alternative by turning every defeat into a protest and every election into a conspiracy.

REALITY CHECK: 28 MLC seats, Congress wins ZERO — including the loss of a sitting member’s seat in Karnataka. MLC elections are not a direct reflection of voter mood, but they do offer clues to regional power equations, party organisation and the local level challenges facing Congress. Zero wins across 28 seats is a result the party cannot afford to ignore.🙏

Being the LoP @RahulGandhi, I suggest you refrain from politicising every issue. Also, casually labelling commercial and legal matters as criminal is unacceptable. You have repeatedly decried the successes of Indian industry & our entrepreneurs. Now, are you trying to incite our business leaders to join you in spreading distrust & toxicity? For decades, your party had smothered the spirit of the Indian entrepreneurs under the stifling ‘Licence-Quota Raj’ & inflicted poverty on crores of Indians. On the other hand, our government led by PM @narendramodi values the Indian industry as job creators & drivers of economic growth. Our policies have been tailored to enable enterprise, support industry and encourage investment. Political parties, leaders, governments and institutions share an equal responsibility to support our industry, strengthen our farmers and secure the future of our youth. Therefore, it is essential to engage constructively rather than casting baseless aspersions to suit your narrow political motives. The Constitution of India ensures justice to all its citizens & our Honourable Courts are entrusted with upholding it. History is witness to the shoddy manner in which you, your party and the PMs belonging to your party have demeaned the judiciary. So Rahul ji, refrain from seeing ghosts everywhere.
Tata is being criminally destroyed, and no business leader dares say a word. How long will you stay silent? Until they own you? Indian business is not Modi and Shah's plaything. You lack courage. We don't. We will ensure justice for these crimes.

VIDEO | Mumbai: Jio Platforms Ltd makes its stock market debut. Reliance Jio Infocomm Chairman Akash Ambani says, “In the decade since, we have had the privilege of transforming the lives of hundreds of millions of Indians. What energised us then, and continues to energise us every day, was never the technology itself, but the people it empowered. A few years ago, in a mountainous region of Kerala, a young girl named Anjali used to walk two kilometres uphill every single day. She did not make this journey for water or supplies, but simply to access data connectivity on her mother’s phone so she could download her school lessons. With Jio, that exhausting daily trek came to an end. Her home became her classroom, and her smartphone became a gateway to infinite knowledge. As we ring the bell today to mark our listing, we remember the millions of Anjalis across India. Our success is measured by the ambitions we inspire and the potential we unlock as we work towards building a better India.” (Source: Jio YT) (Full video available on PTI Videos - ptivideos.com)

Bullet-train corridors. Automotive plants. Heavy manufacturing.🚄🏭 $5.71 billion in a single quarter. A potential ₹8–10 lakh crore follow-through. ✨️💱 Their clear ask: “We don’t want tax concessions. We want tax predictability.” Tokyo’s biggest manufacturing and rail bet yet for India in underway. And what it will take to lock it in: • Beyond portfolio churn: Led by Mitsubishi corporate adviser Ken Kobayashi with senior leadership from Honda and Mizuho, this is patient, balance-sheet capital aimed at core industrial capacity: mega manufacturing hubs, automotive expansions, and next-gen high-speed rail corridors (Delhi–Varanasi and Varanasi–Siliguri). In Q1 FY27 Japan quietly overtook Singapore and the US to become India’s largest FDI source at $5.71 billion, nearly 29% of total equity inflows. • Tax predictability over concessions: The 32-member JCCI delegation was unambiguous. They are not seeking special subsidies or carve-outs. They want regulatory consistency, retrospective tax certainty, and rapid administrative clearances. Global capital can price commercial risk. It flees bureaucratic ambiguity. • The phased monetisation formula: A practical takeaway for mega-infrastructure: Japanese leadership pushed for sequential phases so commercial operations can start early instead of waiting for full-line completion. This de-risks financing, unlocks intermediate cash flows, and makes ₹2 lakh crore+ projects bankable. • The deep-tier skill chokepoint The delegation flagged a critical gap: India’s shortage of high-precision technical manpower in advanced manufacturing. Activating the India-Japan Human Resource Exchange Action Plan to train 500,000 personnel over five years is the missing bridge between capital intent and shop-floor execution. Patient Japanese capital is the ultimate sovereign hedge against volatile global flows. Converting intent into plants requires speed, contract sanctity, and deep technical capability. @DPIITGoI @JapaninIndia @investindia By @pksahu #MakeInIndia #FDI #Infrastructure #HighSpeedRail #IndoJapan
