Btw people don’t want “anyone” for a job these days They want a rockstar person that is a stud with a good history that will take a DOWNGRADE for the role It sounds crazy but I s2g I have seen this so much
During a business trip I heard about multiple companies who are struggling to hire people. Jobs available but they can't fill them. There is a huge disconnect in the job market somewhere- the systems responsible for efficient and effective recruitment have completely failed.

Kinda funny how the most consistent justification these types have for their communism is completely false The illusion you’re just airdropped money and start new

Germany Explores Stealing Properties from Landlords in Berlin and Paying them Below Market Prices, Bonds Crater (this is the end of Berlin as we know it) EUROPE IS DOOMED BEYOND BELIEF IF THIS PASSES On Saturday Die Linke (German Left Party), Greens and SPD in Berlin presented the exploratory paper underpinning their coalition agreement. It envisages socialising, under Art. 15 of the German constitution (GG), private landlords' Berlin stock above 10k units per company. On documented counts that is ~152k units: Vonovia 128k, Heimstaden 10k, Adler 7.4k, Covivio 7k. Compensation is capped at €16bn, about €105k per unit or 58% of book on a pro rata basis, and even the cap is conditional on fiscal sustainability, i.e. it can fall if financing conditions worsen. The paper commits only to a 2027 financing concept; whether that means cash or 100-year bond compensation is left open. The bill reaches the Berlin parliament in mid-2028 and takes effect for transfers one year after promulgation, so mid-2029 at the earliest. - Adler exposure: Adler has got 7.4k units above the 10k unit cap, ie its yielding portfolio is exposed by ~43%. At the cap Adler would receive €105k per unit on a flat split or closer to €115k pro rata to book, i.e. €777m to €860m against €1.49bn of book - a 42% to 48% discount to book. The implied GRI yield/cap rate at the cap is ~7.0%. - Heimstaden exposure: Heimstaden has more than 20k units in Berlin so ~10k units above the 10k allowance are exposed. That's 6% of group total. By value the exposed share will be a tad higher given the German book has higher values per unit vs group. Beyond Art. 15, the exploratory paper explicitly names Adler's Steglitzer Kreisel as its example of a "speculative construction ruin" (Bauspekulations-Ruine): it will sanction inactivity on such sites, expects completion "often only after insolvency proceedings", and will use "transfer of ownership" (Eigentumsübertragung). Moreover, a rent regulator (Mietenaufsicht) starts in 2027, handling rent overcharging (§ 5 WiStG, rents more than 20% above the local reference rent) and running a rent and housing register from 2028, with a new rent-usury (Mietwucher) unit at the public prosecutor's office alongside it. gruene.berlin/fileadmin/user…

Ro Khanna has a brand new $10.2M house in Virginia and he thinks French thugs burning their country down for fun is awesome and more people should follow.
From the high schools of France to the streets of Madrid to the universities of Tirana, young people are telling their governments the same thing: in an age of massive wealth inequality, they want a future they can believe in. In France, students and teachers are asking for safe schools, enough teachers and smaller classes. In Spain, for affordable rent and housing. In Albania, for good jobs and an end to corruption. @JDVance says this is what happens when a nation lets in too many immigrants from the global south. He is not just morally wrong, but misreading the moment. The is what happens when nations let wealth and power accumulate in the hands of a few. This is what happens when young people lose hope in their future. In America, let us listen to our young. We need an economic and political transformation. America's Next New Deal.

Country that bans guns btw
BREAKING: French police have encountered rioters and looters armed with AK47s and Scorpion submachine guns on the streets of Paris, Marseille and Lyon. The information comes from the Le Journal du Dimanche journalist Laura Tchekov, who says that her newspaper has received this information from sources within the DGSI, France’s main internal security agency. The weapons were carried by minors and young adults described as being part of organized crime groups but sometimes also close to the Islamist movement in France. The journalist says that not all armed rioters were arrested and that several of them remain on free foot. It’s believed that police officers refrained from making arrests as they thought they could be both outmanned and outgunned at the moment and that hundreds of people were on the streets, creating a risk of a shoot-out that could have resulted in a large number of wounded and dead.

I had dinner last night with an old friend of mine who is an ex-FBI agent. He is still in contact with his FBI buddies who are still on the job. He told me two things: 1. Omar was running a pay to play program and has illegally brought hundreds of Somalians into the USA. 2. Both Democrats and Republicans were getting kickbacks from the money sent to help Ukraine. They told Ukraine they needed the money to help convince more Americans to be OK with sending them even more money. But things went sideways when the Ukrainian leaders also started to follow the example of their USA fraudsters and started taking nearly half of the money for themselves.

Yes, El-Sayed signed a letter in Arabic in 2012 calling on the new Muslim brotherhood government in Egypt to crack down on dissenters. It’s so outrageous that people think that it must be made up right-wing propaganda, but it’s real. 1/

This is a sign of fear. Democrats are terrified how many Wall Street and Silicon Valley executives are publicly coming out against them. Democrats are attempting to stop a mutiny. The mutiny is scaling up, breaking out, gaining speed faster than it can be contained.
I think Democrats are extremely afraid and this is mostly a bluff. They are serious about punishing people, but lots of Wall Street and Silicon Valley executives are defecting to President Trump. Democrats are getting scared that if these defections continue for another 2 years, the Trump MAGA coalition will permanently consolidate power.

They aren’t burning historic buildings because of economic reasons, they’re burning them because they are important to the French, they hate the French, and they are not French. People keep acting like their targets are random.

Until the 1950's you had to put crops in jars of vinegar and store them in a hole underground so you could eat in the winter. We need the youth to stop pretending to be victims and learn how life was and why it's so much easier for them, not harder. x.com/LeeKuanYimby/status/21…
