When I was 10 and had to go for violin lesson on a Friday afternoon after a long week of school and tuition classes and wanted to jump off the 5th floor of the school building, my math teacher stopped me, called my mother, and I think for the first time in what was years I didn't go for a violin lesson that week and had a bit of rest.
When she went through the EOY paper with me after the exams later that year she said to me "See LJB, life isn't so bad" and that moment has stuck with me even 4 decades later.
The next year after that, I got into a big fight with one of my classmates and ran off and hid in a school staircase, but the pri sch counsellor found me, calmed me down and in subsequent counselling sessions taught me some basic breathing exercises to help with stress and lowering my heart rate. He also seemed quite concerned with the amount of stress I was harboring at that age already.
I think we are a nation of good people, even if our actions and words sometimes seem otherwise. Through the pwnage there is love for each other.

Another good reason to not drive in Singapore.
We don't really need cars in Singapore when we can easily take a Grab or Tada everywhere.
I don't want my man to be driving and spending time trying to find a place to park car when we can just hop off a car and go anywhere we want without needing to find our way back. And we can enjoy a glass or 3.
