She says she contracted COVID at least three times after her vaccinations and was febrile for two weeks at one point, requiring Paxlovid. She had carpal tunnel surgery, twice, and still has it. She reports difficulty coordinating emotions, sensitivity so severe that even touch feels like burning, a sensitive scalp and esophagus, and struggling to breathe while speaking. She says her doctor of over 40 years called her a rare and complex case. She waited for a neurosurgeon since 2024, was never called for public system injections from January 2025, and paid privately for infiltrations. She had a spike protein blood test that came back positive. Retraite Québec has recognized her as disabled since 2024. She describes shame, lost autonomy, and being told by doctors to "get used to a new reality." She says she was abandoned by the medical system and had to do her own research. What happened to Nathalie Barbe is heartbreaking. She followed the rules because her job and her family depended on it, and she has paid an unimaginable price. She deserves compassion, proper medical care, and real answers, not abandonment and years of waiting. No one should be left behind, and that promise must include the vaccine injured.

During COVID we said that if we lose even one life, we cannot leave anyone behind. Why is it different for the vaccine injured?
