remarkably unsure of things; concierge of the vibe

Society will never fully accept that you are a woman because nature has decreed that you aren’t one. Everyone knows that trans women aren’t actually real women. That’s why the label “trans” exists in the first place. And no amount of tantrums you people throw, or state coercion you vote for, or violent threats you make against your enemies will ever change that.

you can't find a compromise with people who don't want you to exist.. Trans people will be more normalised in society than ever once everything is over and I will keep fighting until we get there.. without trying to "play nice" and appeasing wannabe Nazis

University debate, "Were humans built to eat meat?", same two chairs, same clock. Vegan: "Anatomically we're closer to the gorilla than the lion. Flat molars, long gut. A gentle plant-eater with delusions." Paleoanthropologist: "Then explain the acid." Vegan: "Which acid?" Paleoanthropologist: "Your stomach runs at a pH of about 1.5. A lion's sits nearer 3.6. Yours is stronger than the animal you've just been contrasted with, by a factor of about a hundred." Vegan: "Stomach acid digests food." Paleoanthropologist: "A cow's rumen sits at about 6.5. That's a compost heap with a pulse. Yours strips the zinc off a coin. Why would a gentle plant-eater carry that?" Vegan: "Protection." Paleoanthropologist: "From what? Lettuce doesn't fight back." Vegan: "Bacteria." Paleoanthropologist: "Which bacteria live in a leaf at a level that needs a pH of 1.5? Name the salad." Vegan: "..." Paleoanthropologist: "The animals that run acid as low as ours are the scavengers. Vultures. Things that arrive at a carcass on the second day and need to kill what's already living in it. We're not built like the lion. We're built like the bird that waits for the lion to finish." Vegan: "Flattering." Paleoanthropologist: "It's a picture of a species with a rock, a sharp flake and no claws. You don't get the fresh kill. You get the femur nobody could open, forty hours late, and you'd better have the acid for it." Vegan: "Acid that strong is dangerous. Look how many people are on tablets for it." Paleoanthropologist: "The only animal on earth that pays to switch its stomach off. You've spent sixty years pouring cereal onto a carcass digester and now you're medicating the digester for doing its job." Vegan: "So your argument is that we're vultures." Paleoanthropologist: "My argument is a number. Yours is a feeling about gorillas. The gorilla eats for most of the day and its gut is a fermentation tank. Yours is done in a few hours and runs on acid. One of you is designed for leaves." Moderator: "Thirty seconds." Paleoanthropologist: "She can keep them. I'm still waiting on the salad."

Until about 1970 every kitchen in Britain and America made its own cooking fat, and the skill was so ordinary that nobody noticed it being taken off them. In Britain the butcher swept the white trimmings off the block and wrapped them in with your joint for nothing. They went into a heavy pan on the lowest gas, and an hour later the whole street knew. The crackling scraps were salted and handed to whichever child was nearest. The fat went through a sieve into a basin, set white by morning, and ran the week: fried bread, chips, roast potatoes, pastry. In America it was a can by the stove with a strainer in the lid. Every morning the bacon grease went in, and tomorrow's eggs came out of it. On the farm, hog killing filled the cellar with lard until the next November. In 1942 Washington asked housewives to carry their kitchen grease to the butcher to be made into explosives, and paid them by the pound. No government could run that campaign now. There is nothing in the kitchen to collect. What those women were making is what you are made of. Your brain is about 60% fat. The wall of every cell is built from it. Your hormones are built from cholesterol. Vitamins A, D, E and K dissolve in fat and in nothing else. A mother's milk gets half its energy from fat, and nature is not in the habit of poisoning infants. You carry an organ, the gallbladder, with no job except handling fat. Nobody has one for bran. And when your body makes fat from scratch, it makes the same two kinds that fill a dripping basin. It has never once made a drop of soybean oil. Two things ended it. Washington in 1977 and London in 1984 told the public to cut the fat. Then supermarkets began selling meat ready trimmed, so the raw material was removed at a plant before it reached a kitchen. You cannot render what you are not sold. That fat now goes to a rendering plant, and a good part of it becomes diesel. Rapeseed oil, which spent a century as engine lubricant, is in the frying pan. We put the dripping in the truck and the engine oil in the children. Getting it back takes one afternoon. - Ask a butcher for beef or pork fat trimmings - Cut small, heavy pan, splash of water, lowest heat - 2 hours. It should murmur and never smoke - Strain it hot into a jar - Salt the scraps and eat them standing up Fry an egg in it tomorrow and try to remember why anybody stopped.

Cottonseed was a disposal problem. Gins dumped it in rivers, until Procter & Gamble hardened the oil, called it Crisco and sold it as the modern answer to lard. Whey was a disposal problem. Cheesemakers poured it down drains and fed it to pigs, until somebody dried it, put it in a tub and sold it to gym members. Skimmed milk was a disposal problem. It was what remained when the cream went for butter. It went to the pigs too, until it got a red top and a health claim. Bran was a disposal problem. Millers bagged it as animal feed, until Kellogg's boxed it in 1916 and sold it as regularity. Rapeseed oil was a disposal problem. Its market was lubricating ships' engines, and that died in 1945. Canada bred out the worst of it, renamed it canola and called it heart-healthy. Defatted soya was a disposal problem. It was what the oil mills had left over, until it was textured, flavoured and sold as a burger. Beet pulp, citrus peel and oat hulls were disposal problems. They are now listed on the pack as added fibre. Every item on that list has been sold to you as a health food. Every item on that list began as something a factory was paying to get rid of. Your great-grandmother knew exactly what to do with all of it. She fed it to the pig and ate the pig. It made the pig fat, incidentally. Nobody thought that needed a study.

Pope Pius XII on how mass democracy turns liberty into licentiousness and tyranny: "Against this picture of the democratic ideal of liberty and equality in a people's government by honest and far-seeing men, what a spectacle is that of a democratic state left to the whims of the masses! Liberty, from being a moral duty of the individual, becomes a tyrannous claim to give free rein to a man's impulses and appetites to the detriment of others. Equality degenerates to a mechanical leveling, a colorless uniformity; the sense of true honor, of personal activity, of respect for tradition and dignity-in a word all that gives life its worth-gradually fades away and disappears. And the only survivors are, on one hand, the victims deluded by the specious mirage of democracy, naively taken for the genuine spirit of democracy, with its liberty and equality; and on the other, the more or less numerous exploiters, who have known how to use the power of money and of organization in order to secure a privileged position above the others, and have gained power." This quote is recorded in the fantastic book Nobility and Analogous Traditional Elites, which covers social hierarchy in the Christian tradition, including the American tradition

So if you understand history - you’ll understand this. Jewish people have an undeniable historical connection to the land. But historical connection is not an exclusive title deed, and the Bible is not a land registry. If ancient ancestry created modern property rights, Aboriginal Australians could reclaim much of Australia from current owners, Celtic descendants could demand vast parts of Britain, and countless peoples displaced by conquest could redraw Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Jerusalem itself has passed through Jewish, Roman, Byzantine, Arab, Crusader, Mamluk, Ottoman and British rule. And there is a rather obvious problem with pretending history stopped at whichever century suits your argument: Arabs and Palestinians have also lived on that land for centuries. Their existence and rights do not disappear because an ancient kingdom existed before them. Modern states cannot sensibly operate on the principle that God promised territory to one religious group. Whose scripture gets jurisdiction? That is precisely why modern territorial disputes are governed by international law, not competing ancient claims. The International Court of Justice found in 2024 that Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem are being maintained in violation of international law. The UN Security Council likewise says those settlements have no legal validity. (International Court of Justice) History can explain why people feel attached to a land. It cannot give one people unlimited contemporary ownership while extinguishing the rights of another people already living there.

A landmark Finnish study has found a sharp rise in psychiatric illness among adolescents following sex-alteration procedures. The peer-reviewed study, published in Acta Paediatrica, tracked every young person under 23 who contacted Finland's gender clinics between 1996 and 2019. A total 2,083 individuals were studied, with 16,643 matched controls. They were followed for up to 25 years. Finland's health registers are mandatory, which means no one opts out — this is the complete national picture. The numbers: psychiatric morbidity rose from 9.8% to 60.7% in adolescents who underwent feminising reassignment, and from 21.6% to 54.5% in masculinising reassignment. Even after adjusting for prior psychiatric history, gender-referred adolescents faced five times the risk of male population controls, and three times the risk of female controls. "Psychiatric needs do not subside after medical gender reassignment," the authors concluded. Referrals after 2010 arrived sicker. 47.9% had already needed psychiatric treatment before their first clinic visit, against 15.3% among controls. The authors' read: for some adolescents, gender distress may be secondary to other mental health challenges. The evidence keeps mounting. The silencing continues anyway. How many more adolescents will be told this is "care"?

During his 2024 visit to the Catholic University of Leuven, Pope Francis was subjected to a very public dressing down in a speech by Luc Sels, the rector of the college Francis did not take it lying down, before his trip was over he had said 'abortion is murder', women should not try to be men and referred to abortion laws as 'murderous' and 'criminal'. He even called abortionists 'hitmen'. Sels had asked Francis publicly if the church would be 'warmer' with women priests, criticised the church on sexuality issues and abuse. The criticism was completely unprecedented for a Catholic University to a pope, with Francis having made the visit to celebrate their 400th anniversary. Francis was not drawn into an argument, but spent the remainder of his Belgian trip causing absolute havoc in the mainstream media, causing a worldwide meltdown He visited their sister university UCLouvain the following day and decided to press the nuclear button in front of a hostile crowd, telling them: 'It is terrible when a woman wants to be a man: no, she is a woman, and this is “heavy” and important' He then mentioned as female roles 'from marriage to motherhood, or from virginity to the service of others and the building up of the kingdom of God' The speech caused a MELTDOWN among faculty, with the university releasing a statement criticising Francis for his views on femininity He responded: 'That document was pre-made. It was written in the moment in which I spoke, which is not moral... To masculinise women is not human; it is not Christian. An exaggerated feminism, which means that women become like chauvinists, does not work. One thing is chauvinism, that does not work; another is feminism, that does not work' On the topic of abortion, Francis decided to go scorched earth, telling reporters that 'abortion is murder': 'Women. Women have the right to life: to their own lives and the lives of their children. Let us not forget to say this: abortion is murder. Science tells you that within a month of conception, all the organs are already there. A human being is killed. And doctors who engage in this are – permit me to say – hitmen. They are hitmen. This cannot be disputed. A human life is killed. Women have the right to protect life' Francis announced at Mass during the visit that the beatification cause for King Baudouin had been opened, the king who abdicated rather than support abortion After visiting his grave, Francis said the abortion laws were 'murderous' and 'criminal' His intervention came as Belgium considered expanding abortion from 12-18 weeks So outraged were the politicians, that the Apostolic Nuncio was summoned in the wake of the comments The visit was the last multi day visit of Pope Francis outside Italy, but it us perhaps a glimpse into the environment that produced the video below

For fifteen centuries, Christianity existed without Sola Scriptura. The Apostles did not teach it. The Fathers did not practise it. The great Councils did not invoke it. The canon of Scripture itself was discerned and received within the authority and Tradition of the Church. Whatever arguments may be made for Sola Scriptura, it cannot plausibly be described as the historic operating principle of Christianity. It emerges as a distinct doctrinal principle with the Reformation, and is alien to the Apostolic Church.

“The whole modern world has divided itself into Conservatives and Progressives. The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes. The business of Conservatives is to prevent mistakes from being corrected. Even when the revolutionist might himself repent of his revolution, the traditionalist is already defending it as part of his tradition. Thus we have two great types -- the advanced person who rushes us into ruin, and the retrospective person who admires the ruins. He admires them especially by moonlight, not to say moonshine. Each new blunder of the progressive or prig becomes instantly a legend of immemorial antiquity for the snob. This is called the balance, or mutual check, in our Constitution.” ― G.K. Chesterton

I'm extremely skeptical of the "autism is just as common in females as males, girls are just forced to mask" narrative because it only makes sense if boys AREN'T savagely punished for being visibly autistic and thus lack strong incentive to mask if they can. Which is not only
A bit tired of autistic women insisting they have it harder, actually. Or insisting they're better at autism and it's a skill issue. they were "socialised" into good social skills. Nah fam, you weren't. You were not held to a real standard, actually.

I just noticed! "If you look closely, you'll see these women everywhere." Notice it's not "you'll see these MEN everywhere." They're talking about the men, but it isn't even about the men. It's about the women. Even in an article about the men, it's still about the women.

Can we quit trying to impose a female social model on men. This is based on the assumption that friendships even matter to married men with families in the same way they do to married women. Women keep friends like a garden (needs constant attention); men keep friends like a tool box (can ignore until you need something specific). No need to pathologize your husband’s lack of friends ffs
