A guy on Bitcointalk drew this in Excel in 2013 when bitcoin was $25. He never touched it again. It’s still 100% right ,let's see what it predicts...
On the 13th Feb 2013 a user called dacoinminster dumps whatever price history he can find into a spreadsheet, lets Excel fit a power trendline, and writes it down:
Price = 4.42 × 10⁻¹⁷ × (days since Jan 3, 2009)^5.6
He wasn’t building a theory of money. He was arguing 2011 had been the bubble and 2013 wasn’t. The line said about $27 that week. Price was $25.
Nobody refit it. No “updated for this cycle.” Same two numbers for 13 and a half years.
Let's take a look at how this formula predicts Bitcoin's price in the near future.

Revenue is the identity
NEAR’s team builds on multiple fronts. On the surface, that might make it seem like a chameleon coin
Dig a little deeper and you’ll find the truth
- Inflows are dominated by Intents which is a relatively new product and currently winning on almost every route
- Inflows are used to buyback NEAR
- Inflows are growing consistently
- New chains are added regularly
- AI and other features are currently “cool” with the potential for RnD to turn into real revenue alongside intents
If you’re a real investor that looks at a business based on consumer demand, you’re looking at NEAR as the next HYPE 2.0
What I don’t like about NEAR is that it has no identity. It’s a chameleon coin.
Sucked as an L1. Mid as an AI play. Now it’s pivoting to privacy because ZEC is hot.
Winners adapt, sure. NEAR just underperformed every meta it copied. It's an ultimate cope-play for those who missed the train.
2021–22: you'd be better off in AVAX as L1
2023–24: you'd be better off in SOL as L1
2025–26: you'd be better off in ZEC as privacy
Check any ratios (AVAX/NEAR, SOL/NEAR, ZEC/NEAR), you will see.
Always the worst bet.
