He thought GPT-4 would flip software businesses fast - and it didn't, because "the economy just has so much inertia."
People keep buying from the same companies and using the same tools.
That inertia is the real bottleneck, not the model.
So the question isn't how smart the next model is.
It's who changes a workflow, a budget line, a contract -and who pays for it.

Recently, @Microsoft announced Project Solara – a new way of interaction with AI agents and even the first concept of a wearable device.
From my point of view, this is definitely a great step towards progress by the company.
It is quite unreasonable to neglect the trend that wearable devices will become one of the key trends in the field of artificial intelligence research. We won't be able to stay glued to the screen all our lives. In the future, AI is expected to turn into an ambient medium of communication with the environment.
The race for niches in this field will soon begin, considering that OpenAI is already working on its own wearable device concept.
