What is happening in France is not unprecedented. But it is exactly why I rarely post about Gaza or Palestine! Let me be absolutely clear: I support a political solution. I support the roadmap for peace behind Trump’s Board of Peace, and I support the Saudi-led Arab Peace Initiative of 2002. A Palestinian state, security for Israel, normalization, reconstruction, dignity and a political settlement- not endless war! But that is where my support ends. Across Europe, too much of the self-proclaimed “pro-Palestine” movement has become synonymous with permanent protest, confrontation and social disorder rather than diplomacy, institution-building or any realistic path toward peace. And honestly: enough!!! If you genuinely care about Palestinians, what exactly are you achieving by importing the conflict into European streets every single day? How does this help build a Palestinian state? How does it improve Palestinian lives? How does it bring Israelis and Palestinians one step closer to a political settlement? It doesn’t! The Palestinian question needs a political solution- not another street confrontation. I am increasingly sick and tired of watching people claim to speak for Palestine while doing so little that actually advances Palestine. Look at this video from France.
