The seven foreigners, arrested in March 2026 for allegedly entering India on tourist visas, slipping into Myanmar without permits and training ethnic groups in drone warfare at Camp Victoria, received default bail when the NIA’s September chargesheet stuck to immigration violations under the Immigration and Foreigners Act
The NIA court in Delhi released their passports and modified bail terms
They have been allowed to travel to the US and Ukraine to see relatives, provided they share foreign addresses, contacts, and return to India after 30 days
While the broader probe into possible terror links continues, it’s worth asking if they come back and whether India was used as an arms route
