In der Nacht vom 17. auf den 18. Oktober griffen hunderte von ukrainischen Drohnen die russische Stadt St. Petersburg aus dem Gebiet der baltischen Staaten an. Keine einzige der Drohnen scheint durch die NATO abgeschossen worden zu sein, was für eine Absprache spricht. Auch wurde ein Gasterminal an der Nord-Stream-Pipeline angegriffen, was als Signal gegen eine US-Übernahme angesehen wird. Die Dinge eskalieren.
