When you people start throwing around “Tinubu’s economic policy reforms,” I honestly wonder: what has been the effect on the common man?
Policy reforms are not supposed to be an academic exercise. They are ultimately meant to improve people’s lives, strengthen their purchasing power, create opportunities and make the economy work better for ordinary citizens.
After over three years, many Nigerians are still struggling to see the benefits.
Please, save us the rhetoric.
We heard the same explanations during Buhari’s administration. We were told to endure, make sacrifices and wait for the reforms to yield results. Four years came and went, and Nigerians were still asking the same questions.
Government should not be judged by how impressive its economic terminologies sound. Judge it by what is happening in the homes, businesses and pockets of ordinary Nigerians.
Nigeria needs policies that protect citizens’ welfare and create prosperity—not policies whose immediate burden is carried disproportionately by the people while they are repeatedly told to wait for the benefits.
The common man is not asking for economic jargon. He is asking: when will these reforms actually make his life better?
In politics, addition is the goal. Subtraction is not.
Observed a huge political ground shift ahead of 2027. Many are quietly acknowledging that President Tinubu’s policy reforms have tilted the country in the right direction in key areas like the economy and infrastructure.
That makes the real test clearer. Some groups still think insults and bullying win elections. They did no work building coalitions across regions in the last election reason why today, they cannot win minds through debates.
The rare skill is finding people who can sell both the policy and the candidate in hostile territories.
Unlike the past, I have seen a pivotal shift with APC voices that were once hostile and complacent, now taking a more nuanced position by choosing debates to convert new voters. Even more impressive is the aggressive revert.
The Atiku campaign is also walking that same fine path. Unfortunately Seyi Makinde is in Jamboree mode.
Key observation: the administration still has difficulty selling its successes with its current spokesmen.
Looking forward to a campaign where ideas and track record are debated.
Not emotional crap. Not anti-Nigeria messaging some still think will convert new voters.

One uncomfortable thing about life is realizing that not every friendship can survive growth.
You can start from the same place, struggle together, dream together and genuinely want the best for each other.
Then life begins to happen.
One person gets married. Another is still searching. One relocates. One starts earning significantly more. Someone buys a house. Someone is struggling to pay rent. Someone has children while another is still trying to figure life out.
Suddenly, conversations that used to be harmless start feeling different.
You hesitate before sharing good news because you don’t want to look like you’re bragging. Someone stops calling because they feel left behind. Invitations reduce. Small jokes begin to carry resentment.
And sometimes nobody actually did anything wrong.
Life simply moved everyone at different speeds.
I think one of the hardest tests of genuine friendship is whether you can watch someone close to you enter a season you desperately want for yourself and still be genuinely happy for them.
Not everybody can.

Promises will be flying everywhere again. Fine speeches, big assurances and carefully packaged words will fill the air.
Believe them at your own peril.
This time, don’t just listen to what politicians say. Look at what they have done, what they have delivered, and what they can actually account for.

It is wickedness and the spirit of jealousy when you believe patronising your friend’s business will make them richer than you, so you deliberately go and patronise someone else.
Your friend is not your competition.
If you genuinely care about someone, support their hustle when you can. Buy from them. Recommend them. Refer customers to them. Celebrate their progress without feeling threatened by it.
There is enough room for everybody to succeed.
Your friend’s success does not reduce your own.

Self sabotage
Combative women want men they consider unusually masculine, psychologically deep and intellectually penetrating, but those are precisely the kinds of men least likely to tolerate contempt. So when she feels insecure and tries to regain a sense of internal power by reflexively degrading the man, she disproportionately selects herself out of access to precisely the type of man she claims to value.
This is her structural trap.
She appears to think her contempt can function as a kind of leash: I will lower him, withdraw admiration and criticise him, and in doing so, force him to engage with me.
But with the type of man she wants, it actually has the complete opposite effect. She seemingly fails to understand a very basic principle: that disrespect will not widen the aperture and create more access through negative attachment - but will lead to the complete collapse of whatever limited access she had otherwise up until that point been permitted. Antagonism is momentarily cathartic for her in so much as it allows her to vent her frustrations and trauma dump - but more crucially, such indulgence is spiritually ugly and unseductive, and thus pertinently antithetical to her intended aim of winning him.
She is not a conqueror of man, because she does not "know her enemy", meaning she is self-absorbed to the point she seems to have no theory of mind as to the nature of man's psyche and his underlying dignity, and thereby like a bull in a china shop, presumes she can just inelegantly trample all over him, repeatedly humiliating herself by imposing herself unpleasantly, under the idiotic belief this will somehow get her what she wants. For the supposedly emotionally intelligent sex, this is profoundly retarded - but it goes to show that even in otherwise at least moderately clever women, ego can prove such a blind spot it renders them functionally moronic.
And because she apparently does not understand that disrespecting the man she wants is why he keeps cutting her off every time she manages to force access to him, she keeps interpreting his resulting exclusion as "another move in the dance" - further evidence that something psychologically profound and meaningful is happening between them, rather than recognising the much simpler but less flattering and more self-indicting causal chain:
She behaved unpleasantly toward a man who had no obligation to tolerate her, so he removed her.
