The Internet
Based in North America
It’s been incredible to see x402 go viral this week! For anyone new, welcome to the movement. I designed x402 to be the HTTP of money: a universally accepted, neutral, core primitive to help make the internet ready for the AI era. I can’t wait to see what people build 🛠️

Surprised you like orca more than cmux tbh
1

Maybe I should give it another shot. I use Orcas remote orchestration a lot which cmux didn’t use to have.

So bare Claude/codex, no personal assistant harness?
1
33
Kind of. I use Claude and codex hosted on a remote dev box (exe.dev) with schedules and the ability to ping me when I’m away. When I’m working (most of the time these days) I access that dev box via orca and typically have 3-5 sessions running. It’s kind of an emergent personal assistant harness customized to how I like to work.

I have tried and use custom agent -> {poke, instinct, hermes, grok, muse} daily

For technical people I think there’s extremely high value in customizing for exactly what you need

cli / app? yeah, the only really sticky usecase I have for hermes right now is watering my plants... the rest i think i could do with just plain codex

Orca is kind of like a terminal multiplexer with a browser built in, I use via cli through orca

I use claude / codex pretty much evenly, both through Orca, personal assistant agents I try them all but haven't found myself reaching for any

impressive result on JevBench
Replying to @marco_derossi
On JevBench, Sage1 scores better on accuracy than other System1 models, with a similar median latency. When multi-step reasoning is required, Sage has 93% accuracy vs. 71% for other System1 models. Sage is smart enough to know when to be fast and when to think step by step, covering both System1 and System2. When Sage activates reasoning, it takes on average 3X longer to decide.

Might get cancelled for this but I’m very bearish on agentic micropayments.

more options good So far the minimum viable unit of economics on the internet has been ~$5. I suspect thats not the floor of what something can be worth in a market. We shall see, experiment still in progress

The crypto x ai bears are missing the whole point. The bull case for x402: - digital goods (i.e., data) and services (i.e., SaaS) are often gated behind paywalls or at least a sign up - this adds friction to an agent using these as it goes after a goal - x402 makes everything permissionless and agent-discoverable. agents only need to buy what they’re using. - as agents start to easily discover x402 services, SaaS providers will be incentivized to add their services behind payment gateways to tap into agent distribution - this becomes a massive flywheel — a true permissionless network of everything in the digital world (and eventually will tap into meat space with robotics and meat proxies) - if we do this right it can create an autopilot agent economy that gives us more abundance than we could even imagine Permissionless commercialization + micropayments need crypto.
Might get cancelled for this but I’m very bearish on agentic micropayments.
