Quant secures a key role in US bank payments
The Clearing House (@TCHtweets) has selected @quantnetwork to power its On-Chain Money Initiative, a network where banks will clear and settle tokenized deposits. Quant's tech will also connect it to the RTP and CHIPS systems that banks use today.
Tokenized deposits work like normal bank deposits, with the same protections, but move on a blockchain. It is expected to open to participating banks in the first half of 2027.
