Every @theallinpod summit is a time capsule. This year captured everything: the AI buildout, America’s return to ambitious engineering, the crisis facing young men, institutional cowardice, and a future that feels close enough to touch.
We hosted the Unofficial All-In Dinner Club and brought 150 people together before the Summit even started. The Women’s Brunch—born in Miami with 12 women—returned with 75 (this time hosted by @poymeetsworld. Universal had no lines. The mansion had poker, caviar bumps, and The Chainsmokers. We're going to Mars but the Wi-Fi didn’t work.
The biggest takeaway: the future is going to be incredible. Richland Parish showed how AI infrastructure can revive a community. Bill Gurley showed why civilization still needs fearless truth-seekers. Clavicular showed us a cultural problem we can’t fix until we understand it.
And once again, the people were the real event: high intelligence, low ego, relentless curiosity.

I married this man when I was 21 and he was 23. Not post economic of course, but we're both ballers and well on our way (or there depending on what the number is).
Everyone wants to keep their options open, looking for the perfect person on paper. The reality is you find a great person with tons of potential and build this life together.
I’ve helped quite a few people get into relationships now [even one marriage & 2 engagements] & the biggest thing I notice is people all have a long list of what they expect, but don’t have a clear picture of who they are or what they can offer to a partner.
You can want whatever you want. But the person you choose must also choose you.
Lots of comments bashing Brooke for wanting a ‘post economic’ guy. That’s actually not hard to find at all, especially somewhere like sf. Guys with money are a dime a dozen. Some people think they’re post economic at 10M though and some people at 500M. That should be clearly defined if it’s an important quality.
A guy who is 35-42, never been married or engaged & has no kids, but is capable of/has the tools to be a good husband, is marriage minded and decidedly wants kids?
Much much much less likely to find that than an affable, fit, billionaire.
ps I would’ve commented directly on the post, but she has me blocked despite our only interactions ever being me congratulating her on runs. So - if that’s any indicator, personality may also be a challenge to finding a partner here.

I was in freshman year physics class when a sophomore came in and told Mr. Presley to turn on the tv.
It was my friend Jason Miller's birthday. Someone had gotten sent to the principals office for wearing a cocks football hat.
We saw the replay of a plane crashing into one of the twin towers and laughed because we thought it was a dumb pilot in a small plane that didn't see the tall buildings there.
Then the black smoke kept getting bigger and it started to seem like maybe more than a prop plane had crashed.
And then the second plane came and suddenly a wall of a feeling I had never felt before — or since — filled the room.
Like your soul knew you were witnessing something truly tragic and evil before your mind could comprehend.
They did it on purpose. Twice.
And then we saw clips of bodies falling or jumping, we weren't sure. Then the tower came down, and then other one.
As time has passed, I’ve come to understand that day changed me, as it changed so many people. For me, it was the realization that I had totally and utterly lacked the imagination for what evil could exist in the world.
But also the courage.
