I’m actually taken aback at the lack of awareness about eloping in autistic children. But maybe that’s because I live it. The amount of times I’ve had to run, while my heart is racing thinking please stop. And they think it’s a game. They’re so much faster than you could imagine.

Almost one year ago, on 29 July 2025, our son Harvey lost his life while under the care of CHI Ireland. After Harvey's untimely death, Gillian and I made a promise to our son: he would not become just another statistic in a healthcare system that had failed a child.

I've had a lady contact me about her daughter, her daughter is a adult and has various speech and language difficulties, she has had the same frames for her glasses for over 12 years, and will not change them for different frames, the frames are so old now that the opticians won't put new lenses in them for fear of breaking them, mum can't find anywhere that sells these they are made by GUESS, is there anyone out there that knows of a company that will refurbish the frames so that they can continue being used or does anyone know where they can be brought, please could I kindly ask you to rewtweet in the hope that we can help this young lady.
