Today's Verse “Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:1 CSB Devotion The Apostle Paul declares that because of what Christ has done for us (in His sacrifice and death), it is through that work the believer has peace with God. Simply put, we are no longer at war with God and His righteous standards. Paul is not saying that those who believe will always have and be at peace in life. Rather, he is declaring that our belief and faith in Christ allows us to be at peace with God. No longer condemned in sin, but set free through the power of His blood and the forgiveness of our sin. In Christ, our standing before God is sure and complete. As a child I deeply wanted to be a member of a certain sports club in my school. For months I was not accepted and could not participate in their events and gatherings. It hurt and left me uneasy until, finally, the invitation came. I accepted becoming a member whereby I enjoyed all the benefits and status of being a member of this club. But it was upon the club’s invitation, not my doing, that I could become a member. The same is with the work of Christ. It is His doing on the cross that provides the invitation to receive forgiveness and through what He has done, we become righteous before God. No longer at enmity with God (going against His ways in sin), but being at peace with God and enjoying the peace of God as we journey through life (Rom 8:7, Eph 2:15-16). In all my years in ministry, I am still amazed when I come across a person who looks forward to meeting God upon death so they can give Him a piece of their mind. It’s laughable and sad at the same time to think one is so lofty (let alone worthy) to tell God how it should have been. Today, there are many who still reject the offer of forgiveness through Christ; let this never be you, beloved of God. By the work of Christ, know you are forgiven, accepted, and you have access to God now and forever. The veil has been torn in two. You are blessed with a mutual love relationship with God. No longer going against His righteous standards, but in harmony with God having peace that surpasses all human understanding but is divine and awesome in Him. I would normally agree with this opinion. But our "internal divisions" affect the entire world and not one of the major powers could believe what we allowed to happen during the Biden administration. No one appreciates or respects the return of the normal international power dynamics than the Chinese. It is likely very calming to know that this administration clearly understands how crazy and corrupt the past administration was.

The "dumbing down" of America is one of the most insidious tactics of the radical left and it is working beyond their wildest dreams. Many of the 100M people born since 9-11 have no idea what the communist/jihadi alliance have in mind for their future nor a single clue about how to resist the allure of the free lunch.

Only one political party is intent on the "fundamental transformation" of America. We all experienced the preview of their vision and the chaos it created. The mid-term elections must reflect a fulsome rejection of their plans or our children and grandchildren will never enjoy the freedoms we have.

Now she is on MSNOW crying about malicious compliance because CNN and her old network got turned away from a greeting ceremony with Xi. She even dragged Obama into it like that settles the argument. For four years, Psaki spun disasters, buried stories, and called legitimate questions conspiracy theories while the media clapped along. Now the shoe is on the other foot, and it is her turn to cry about it. Trump does not owe Fake News a hard pass so they can smear a historic state visit for ratings. If she wants a lecture on accountability, she can start with her own record.

He was working before sunrise in DC. Plane to New York at 6am. Addressed the world at the UN. Signed the Greenland security deal. Three hours with the Iranians. Hosted Gulf countries for a peace meeting. Met Zelenskyy on Ukraine. Met Venezuela on the oil and minerals deal. Shield of the Americas with other nations. Dinner at the UN. Pull-aside meetings stacked on top of it. Flew back to DC at 1am. Back at work before sunrise. All this man does is work for America. I don’t care what the media or the polls say. I’m proud Trump is my President.

The Senate is something Republicans should be out voting for in November. I don’t think people talk enough about how important this is. Comfortably winning the Senate is a great way to set the right up for the rest of Trump’s term and a great way for Republicans to be in a good position going into 2028. It will make it much harder for dems to get a trifecta in 2028 even if they win the White House.
