bro…if u were trying to cram bosses, levels, and enemies within 3 months….
Dead Space creator Glen Schofield says he was forced to release The Callisto Protocol three months early, despite the team needing more time after COVID-19 disrupted development.
“I was forced to ship the game. I’m mad at myself, there’s no doubt,”
The rushed release meant cutting levels, bosses, and enemies, the team then worked hard to fix the game, releasing 86 patches after launch.
“They thought Callisto was a complete failure,” Schofield said about Krafton. “What they didn’t know while all they were doing was complaining, we were doing patches.”
He also had plans for a sequel set in a massive spacecraft junkyard, but Krafton wasn’t interested in continuing the series.
