Only if the state controls the "right" outcomes. Right to self defense? Doesn't exist. God doesn't exist - government is God. 2) Progressive ideology isn't some gentle evolution of liberalism; it's far closer to communism. Both progressivism and communism divide the world into oppressors vs. oppressed (class for communists, race/gender/identity for progressives). Both demand wealth redistribution, central planning, and state power to enforce "social justice." Both treat capitalism as the root evil and push collectivism over individualism. Communists nationalized factories; progressives nationalize your speech, your kids' education, your energy policy, and your bank account via taxes/regulations. Same goal, softer branding: "equity" instead of "from each according to ability." History shows where it leads: Authoritarian control dressed as compassion. Stop calling them liberals. Call them what they are: Progressives. And push back on their ideology at every turn or we will become the oppressed.
