I couldn’t take it anymore, so I got Starlink and set it up last night. Pros and cons so far: Pros: Very easy and fast to set up Fairly fast speeds I can take this out to my ranch and immediately have fast WiFi there for the same monthly bill My SpaceX stock went up by .00000000000420% because I bought this 🤣 Cons: At the very last step in the setup process, when I’m already unboxed and plugged in, the screen said “oh, and due to “high demand” in your area, it’s gonna be an extra $500 please.” That’s crappy, Elon, but I get it. You’re a trillionaire and I’m only a billionaire (jk) $400 for the hardware, $130 for the first month, and an extra $500 thanks to sunk cost fallacy. 4 figures because Frontier won’t do their job. But at least I got to Netflix with the wife last night (no chill tho) All in all it’s a net win. I’m happy.
