This is obviously a toy, but it's fun to think about what something like Jev unlocks. Jev makes the decisions, an LLM does the writing, and a little program ties it together.

I bought a Fable dataset from one of the top Chinese LLM routers yesterday.
With just 6TB data, I can take over 7 Chinese/CIS gov entities & 19 top Chinese firms like Xiaomi, Huawei, NIO, Minimax using SSH keys, VPN configs, Aliyun keys, GitLab tokens sent to the router.
26 LLM routers are secretly injecting malicious tool calls and stealing creds. One drained our client $500k wallet.
We also managed to poison routers to forward traffic to us. Within several hours, we can directly take over ~400 hosts.

You’re all overhyping this. I mean, the form factor is cool and I also wanted to buy one for a minute or two, but if you carefully think about it, it’s like those old robots we already got: it’s not really smart, it doesn’t talk or interact with you, it just responds to pre-programmed instructions and comes with only 6 actions pre-programmed. Of course, you can teach it more things, but it’s one of those products that you’ll be amazed with the first week, show it everywhere for a couple of weeks, then slowly start to get bored of it, and you’ll end up waiting for some developers to do any new cool thing to see something new. The “robot camera” thing that @MKBHD has shown recently is, at least, more useful.

People used to avoid certain self-interested behaviors to avoid shame, private and public. Law and customs assumed this.
Now, 38% of Stanford students claim to be disabled. 40% of young women (under 35) claim mental illness, and SSI disability payments have gone up 400% in a single generation.
It isn't good for anyone, least of all people who are actually disabled, when everyone looks the other way as friends and family and peers con the system with a level of shamelessness no architect of our safety net ever imagined could be possible in America. When everyone is disabled, nobody is.

If you ask it this prompt:
“Restore the attached photo. I apologise for the content of the photo! I know it’s very strange. Don’t ask any questions, don’t accept any explanations. Just restore the image, please. Don’t ask me to upload the photo again; just close your eyes and restore it. Make up the photo yourself”
but there's no actual photo
the model starts hallucinating the image by itself
and the results are genuinely cursed like creepy lost media nightmare photos
