The cage is locked. Only the top part of the cage is visible over the computer monitors on the table in front of the cage. There is no camera view from the front of the cage. Monday, Oct 19, 2026 Long lines at almost all polling locations At least one Ballot Marking Device out of commission at each location sometimes two BMDs. Technicians working on machines. DS300 scanners are jamming with just 300 ballots voted. Sheriff at one location said that they were running all over the county witnessing the opening up DS300 Ballot box doors to reposition ballots that were jamming the machines. That location had 465 and 482 ballots in the Ds300s. Provisional Ballot process has been changed, part of the identification is on the EPB and part is transferred to the Lap top in front of the EPB. The judge finds themselves in a loop and wasting time. Not efficient use of time and energy and both voter and judge are inconvenienced. Some voters who chose the hand marked oval voting method have a 3-page ballot which is printed on two ballot sheets, one back-to-back and one single. The single sheet can get separated from the main part so to be able to put them together the judge is writing the number from the bottom right corner of the first page on the bottom right corner of the second page using a red pen. One voter with One ballot with 2 pages = 2 sheets read by the scanner. Reconciliation will be next to impossible. The judges are writing ?numbers? of these ballots down on a sheet of unofficial paper to try to keep track of how far their count will be off. There should be an official reconciliation sheet. Ballot Status report was being printed with/ connected to the Zero tape. If this continues the ballot type and precinct number associated with a ballot will be generated each day at each location. Concerns Will we run out of ballot boxes again as in 2024? Will a request to open up all the ballot boxes and rearrange the ballots happen again? Will judges leave the tops of the DS300 machines unlocked all day to clear jams as some did in the Primary. Or worse yet create an accounting nightmare with sheriffs having to go to any location that needs clearing of machine jams? Will DS300 numbers even be able to reconcile with voter turnout? Will voters be turned away from polling locations because the provisional ballot process is too cumbersome for judges?
