Finally got to watch the backrooms and I'm really happy that movie exists. It's exactly the kind of movie I've wanted to make in the way it makes you feel like something is infinitely terrifying yet so grounded. Very different from watching it on YouTube. Loved it.

The stupidity level is egregious. Taking the word of the brightest people who seem to also have financial stake in their favor that legislation like this would enable is just putting your hand over one eye and saying you see it all.
No reactionary language in the legislation against other countries doing whatever TF they want but our own citizens get a possible sentence equal to developing nuclear weapons? Why not mandate we nuke the other country by default for experimenting with asi?
People in this government that should be at the helm of how to regulate this tech are being ignored yet the "bad guys" who do so much wrong yet they're the ones we are taking lead from? Gotta be fuggin kidding me.

I had for many years resisted uncrustables. Seemed silly since I never saw the strawberry out in the wild and that's my jam, literally. Kids get them sent home a few times a year and hate them. I just had my first and it was really good.
