Read this thread, it's the argument about if Local AI is useless or not. I strongly feel its not, but I also think its not apples to apples comparison with the top current frontier model. Different tools for different uses, I use both. But I love local and its getting stronger.
Sure but it’s not apples to apples? That’s silly. That’s like saying have you driven a 911 vs a f1 race car. Doesn’t mean they aren’t both strong. Local you can fine tune, have 0 refusals and run without power or internet with the right setup. Different beast with different expectations.

I highly recommend checking it out and supporting her if you use it since she does so much for the local community.
