☁️ STORE Community Update - September 17, 2026 Monetary System Advancing We have finalized the architecture for the Governance Endowment Ledger - a new canonical component of the STORE Monetary System. The short version: every payment transaction on the protocol contributes 0.25% to a governance endowment. That endowment pays for all governance activity - ballots, identity verification, constitutional events, governance compute and storage. Governors never pay to vote. The commercial layer funds the democracy. Two separate funds now exist within the protocol: Governance Endowment - funded by transaction fees, pays for all governance activity STORE Association Treasury - funded by the constitutional margin, pays for operations and R&D When mServices produces a commercial output, the user pays. When mServices produces a governance output, the endowment pays. Same infrastructure. Two funding paths. That is what makes STORE a governance protocol with commercial utilities, not the other way around. The endowment balance will be visible in real time on the site and inside the protocol. The floor rule is constitutionally governed - only a governor ballot can set or change the minimum balance. Test Network We are on track for Friday September 18. More to report tomorrow.

China just proved AI agents can talk to each other without using a single human word. Faster. More accurate. Zero text overhead. Here's the problem: if no human can read the conversation, no one can verify what was decided or hold anyone accountable. STORE Research has invented the constitutional wrapper for this - a write-layer requirement that any AI-to-AI communication triggering a governed action must produce a human-readable audit record before the action fires. Fast channel. Mandatory audit. Both required. This is disclosure 169+ in our pre-filing invention library. We're pioneering a new field: constitutional mathematics applied to AI governance.

Governance first - because without it, access and ownership just recreate the same capture we are all living in today. Metcalfe's Law concentrates power. The internet, big tech, big cloud, big AI - all built on it. Same math. Every time. Hamilton's Law inverts it: Stability = N x (1 - max(Pc)). As the network grows, the ceiling holds. It's the same math Alexander Hamilton and the American Founder's encoded in the Constitution in 1787. The same +2/3 BFT math Leslie Lamport proved necessary for computing security in 1982 - 195 years apart, zero cross-citation. We engineer that ceiling into the database layer. Single-actor capture becomes a type error, not a policy. Then we build the intelligence system to coordinate advanced AI under that same ceiling. It's inside-out, deterministic governance vs policy-based, outside-in as we've seen used by the big AI labs (Chat, Anthropic, Google, etc). Democratization = governance that compounds as the network grows.

Big governance update In this next phase of the protocol, First Governance moves on-chain for the first time. Here's what that means. The next vote our First Governors cast won't happen through a Google Group email thread. It will execute through STORE. Vote notification arrives by email. You click, sign in, vote. It records on-chain via VERIFY. Governance compressed to mobile speed, with deadlines, quorums, and constitutional thresholds built in. This is what we're building toward: Humans craft the ballots. STORE Research and our Swiss Association launch partner team review and reach consensus. First Governors vote. At scale, multiple votes per week. Incentives for voting. Disincentives for not voting. A Governor Board elected to serve the governors - sitting inside the Swiss Association as a member, earning endowment revenue, representing governors who sit in markets. Markets compete with each other, support each other, and vote as a network. Governance is escalatory by design. Most votes are math-based - thresholds trigger automatically. Some are discretionary, where elected stewards deliberate. The judicial branch works in checks and balances with the Governor Board to reach finality. Think about how Congress works today. People have to convene in a building, secured, at enormous cost. We're compressing that to your phone, at machine speed, with constitutional integrity intact. If STORE ever needs to turn servers off - or turn AI off - the judicial branch can escalate to a Governor Board vote. Checks and balances built into the infrastructure. Not policy. Constitution. That's what we're building on the governance front. That's what's coming alive soon.

STORE Network Update · July 29, 2026 We're 90% through a micro test network review today. Here's the picture: What's in front of us: - A few cosmetic improvements - Some user experience edge cases to smooth out - A handful of items that touch the database layer - always our biggest lift, but the scope is small this time We're racing to ship the micro test network tomorrow. Whether we hit that depends on how this iteration goes - we'll keep you posted. What we're focused on: Responsive design is a priority. The protocol needs to work beautifully on desktop and be fully secure and functional on mobile. Both matter equally. We're also going the extra mile for non-crypto users. You don't need a wallet to use STORE - but if you want to receive STORE tokens directly from the protocol, a wallet is what unlocks that. We're making that setup as effortless as possible. Getting the onboarding right here is critical. What comes after: Once we close this build, we'll have an engineering and design stack that lets us move faster through everything that follows. Next up is STORE Send - we've lined it up with STORE Pay, STORE Onboarding, and STORE Account. This build expands the surface area for everything that comes next. It'll be economics and governance that separates frontier AI models. It's not obvious yet to the VC crowd but it is where this is all headed.

Update: Thanks to our testing community, we've been able to solve several critical bugs and make important UX improvements. Additionally, we've been able to build from the foundation laid through these two micro-test networks and expand the possibilities of STORE - all possibilities we've been hard at work on in deep R&D. Govern, Earn, and Send primitives will be exposed in this next version of STORE mID (STORE Account). Here's a sneak peak. Once through our engineering sprint to execute the work required, we'll issue a third micro test network with the aim of being our final test network before fundraising begins.

Enterprise and institutional grade security - without connecting your crypto wallet - is the mission.

This is why AI governance won’t work on the corporate level without a system that enforces it through the entire stack (hardware layer -> accounting layer -> application layer) in a way that protects the constitution. Nation states, corporates, small businesses, all of them will require finegrained control of automated enforcement on real time AI access and execution, that can be verified, have checks and balances and high speed coordination of governance, each having their own hierarchical constitution. Crypto was always supposed to be the foundational logic to this, and the math available is the foundational logic, but all protocols failed to realize for this to work they need to own and gamify from an optimized hardware layer up, with leaderless consensus, for it to work and none of them have been able to make this financially viable, cutting corners that led to some level of centralization and requiring centralized subsidized solutions, inevitably leading to economic demise. Those who can compose the full (governance, compute etc) stack with the correct incentives, could become the true new meta to revive crypto, especially considering the premium that can now be captured by creating a solution to remove friction on AI adoption, which largely relates to reliable governance configuration and enforcement. I have been saying this for nearly a decade. I hope to be correct, because it will move AI into a truly beneficial environment for all of humanity, not completely controlled by the biggest corporate stakeholders.

Transactions came in from Malaysia, Paraguay, France, Netherlands, Nigeria, and more. Real users, real payments, real feedback. Some of you hit delays and friction - we saw it, and your feedback matters. We're now synthesizing everything. Once we've worked through the results, we'll share what we learned, what's changing, and what we're improving. Then we'll release one final version of the test - with another 2,500 STORE for anyone who completes it. We're aiming for next week on this. What you're testing is more than a payment flow. STORE Pay is the foundation of CLEAR - our governed transaction protocol. Math-based. Machine-speed. Human-managed. Every transaction is verified, signed on-chain, and tied to a Cloud ID that anyone can check. That's not how payments work today. That's how they need to work as AI and economics collide. Update: We continue to make progress on the R&D of Cloud Markets. It's the final piece of R&D to finalize before we can formally layer in full logic of checks and balances. Update: Major breakthrough on STORE Infrastructure costs for Markets. We've been working on this problem for several years and closed out the dynamic nature of pricing today. It'll help us finish our mServices technical specification for pricing. mServices = what STORE sells m = machine speed, math-based, human managed (governed) Amazon sells web services. STORE sells mServices.

Threshold-based democracy - the same one Hamilton helped us install in America and the same +2/3 threshold Leslie Lamport helped us understand for distributed systems security - is viable for staying in control of the full AI stack, from compute, to models, to agentic economies.
