Elon's Terafab in Grimes County: $16.8B first phase, 3,000 jobs, and SpaceX says it's 'bringing our own power' with natural gas plants. The future of American chips runs on Texas gas. The Railroad Commission keeps it flowing. I'll keep permits fast and fair.

Just voted straight R. Including a candidate I REALLY didn’t want, and voted against in the primary. I was the only person there who wasn’t 95% likely to vote Democrat. Better get out there, folks. Grab some friends.

Giorgia Meloni just passed new measures that will end the “student protests” really fast. If you take part in a violent demonstration, you face up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to €20,000. The sentence is harsher if faces are covered or people are injured. Parents are now financially liable for the damage and vandalism their underage children cause. Police can detain 14–17 year olds who pose a danger, even without a prior crime. She also deployed 500 army troops to Milan alongside police to protect the city through the end of the year. This is great. Now she just needs to mass deport them all!

There’s so much German heritage here in Fredericksburg, it’s crazy. We even met a few people who still speak German, although they told us they are the last generation to do so. It was really cool to see how much effort people here put into preserving their German heritage. The history of the town and how it was founded by German settlers is also really fascinating. We visited a museum where we learned all about it. 🇩🇪🇺🇸

Elon Musk today on a potential merger between SpaceX and Tesla: "Both Tesla and SpaceX have formed special committees at the request of shareholders. Because I'm a conflicted party I can't be in on these discussions. I don't think we should assume that a merger is a certainty. Do I think it would be a good idea? Yes. But at the end of the day, shareholders have to be supportive of this. The special committees have not reached an agreement on any transaction, and it doesn't mean they will, but there is a lot of be gained from cooperating on SI, chip design, robots, mass or orbit, connectivity. I think it would be a good idea."

This criticism is BS. The 20,000 names came from A-Files of Permanent Resident Aliens held by USCIS. They are actual aliens lawfully in the U.S. They also appear on the voting rolls that Calif. makes available for purchase. The USPS knows if election mail was sent to those individuals and at what address. If the name and address of the individual who is registered and was mailed a ballot matches the name and address of the alien with an A-File with USCIS, then an ineligible voter was sent a ballot. That DOJ only charged 28 people is merely a "proof of concept." It demonstrates to California that there ineligible voters on California's voter roles. How many of those 20,000 names are getting ballots this midterm election is for Califronia to figure out. Deliberate ignorance -- avoiding the facts once presented -- makes you an aider and abetter of the federal crime of illegally voting.
Trump DOJ is getting torn to shreds today for their announcement in CA yesterday ⬇️

HOLY SH*T Elissa Slotkin is cooked. She just got hit with an ethics complaint for THREATENING to PROSECUTE those working in the Trump admin.
CASA has filed a SENATE ETHICS COMPLAINT against Sen. Elissa Slotkin after she publicly called for deterring young Americans from working in the Trump administration. Slotkin said she wanted prospective staffers to fear they could be “buying myself a ton of problems” by taking a job and made clear: “I want that deterrence message sent.” CASA is calling on the Senate Ethics Committee to investigate whether those remarks crossed the line from political criticism into INTIMIDATION of Americans seeking public service.

You need to understand how Right-wing people under 40 view the Left. When we think of Leftists, we do not think of Barack Obama or Ezra Klein. Yes, these guys are on the Left, but younger Millennials and Zoomers on the Right do not think of Leftists in their own age bracket as polished technocrats. These are not the sort of people that make up our Left-wing counterparts that we grew up with, went to school with, or work with. When we think of Leftists, the first thing that pops into our head are a bunch of disgusting, depraved, spiteful mutants who want to destroy everything around them as payback for the crime of being born. We think of Discord troons that invaded our hobbies, Reddit mods who are drunk on the most insignificant power imaginable, that one girl from high school or college who became a literal Communist, and that friend or family member who cut off all contact because we refused to treat their mental illness like a status symbol. We think of people who, if they ever became a majority of the country and actually managed to possess political power, would inevitably kill tens of millions of people out of blind envy and petty cruelty. Younger people on the Right come across as impatient and anxious in their mindset and mannerisms because they understand what will eventually happen when these people succeed their Gen X and Boomer predecessors in the Democratic Party. They know what is to come if their own generational cohorts on the Left actually take power, and they feel incredibly exasperated that it seems like none of their parents or grandparents understand just how late the hour truly is.

🚨 BREAKING: The feds just moved to seize half a city block in Minneapolis, reportedly bought with stolen SNAP money. Per the White House fraud task force, DOJ's new National Fraud Division filed yesterday to take back property that was fraudulently bought with food stamp dollars meant for hungry Minnesotans. Then the speaker turned to the press in the room: "None of your outlets reported it. It took one brave kid and a camera." That learning center was cited hundreds of times, and the legacy media sat on it for years. Nick Shirley did their job for free. Now Trump is taking the money back, one city block at a time.

Periodic reminder that a lot of stuff that people believe “just works” in the global system is actually asymmetric US capabilities
As you can see from the issues with Starlink and Patriot missiles, the idea that Europe was supporting Ukraine on its own without the US was pure fantasy. It was a bad idea for many of Ukraine’s supporters to meme themselves into believing it

🚨 BREAKING: President Trump just put a bounty on fraud, and every American can cash in. He announced the Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program today. You report fraud at fraud.gov, and if it's real, you get paid. Trump's words: "If you find a billion dollars, we are giving a commission to that person of 1%." Find 10 billion, and that's 100 million in your pocket. California's answer was reportedly a law to shut down Nick Shirley. Trump's answer is to deputize the whole country. The fraudsters spent years robbing us blind. Now 330 million Americans are watching, and every one of them has a reason to turn them in.
