The average home sold for $433,367 in August 2015. In August 2026, it sold for $668,219. That’s almost $235,000 more. If you earn enough to hit the annual limits, maximum CPP and EI deductions have climbed from $3,410.55 to $5,769.52. That’s $2,358.97 more coming off your paycheque each year. You work harder, pay more for the basics, and wonder how your kids will ever afford a house. So why do the Liberals keep dragging everyone into fights over pronouns and the wedge issue of the week? When people started to believe the threat of global warming and climate change, world leaders started to work together.
