Gm. Happy BTC new ATH! And at the same time we see the absolute extreme degeneracy happening with $TRUMP and all the shit. It's interesting to see those extremes of the spectrum at the same time. I apologise in advance but I will be midcurving in this tweet (some people will even say that I am coping). We need Bitcoin maximalism more than ever. We need watchdogs on the core principles and ethos more than even, on Bitcoin, and on Ethereum. Unfortunately it seems that many in the Ethereum community want to go towards the other side (the wrong one!) of the spectrum. Solana is not the solution, it's on the contrary one of the symptom of the problem. It's the result of accumulating compromises that make you end up recreating the system you were fighitng against in the first place. You can say whatever you want, Solana is not and was never a solution that can change the world for the better, unlike Bitcoin (and to some extend Ethereum, as I am still hopeful it can succeed, because similar to Bitcoin, it stands out in terms of ethos and principles, clearly different from the rest of the crypto space). There is no point in having a fast and cheap chain where there is no easy verifiability of execution. Verifiability matters yes. Don't get trapped by people saying it does not matter. It's actually the number one thing that matters. Why are we even building all of this if it does not matter ? Yes the rollup centric roadmap makes sense, even if in the current status there are obvious challenges in terms of overall UX and interop to make it completely seamless and feel that you are just using Ethereum. But it is the solution, if you don't want to sacrifice the important properties that we want, security, decentralisation, censorship resistance, VERIFIABILITY of execution. Challenges and current pitfalls will be fixed. In fact, solutions for all of them are already known now and it's just a matter of time and implementation now. Real time proving is around the corner, and it means interoperability and high composability will be fixed. It means that we don't have to sacrifice verifiability. ZK is the solution. STARK proofs in particular can bring this verifiability, integrity of computation, without compromises. Bitcoin is the model and should be always the model. Bitcoin can and will change the world. Ethereum can play a role in this as well and help Bitcoin to achieve it. Bitcoin (and still Ethereum) must be protected at all cost. If you advocate for Solana as a replacement / substitute of Bitcoin / Ethereum you represent a danger. If you wish the failure of those you are a danger too. Starknet (and other genuine ZK rollups solutions) will help building this Integrity Web for the people. I am extremely convenient that Starknet will provide the best execution engine for Ethereum and hopefully Bitcoin. A place to unleash computation without sacrificing verifiability. We need more maximalism. We need to remind ourselves why we are doing all of this. Fix the money, fix the world. Let's bring back sovereignty to the people using freedom technology.
