Paddy’s Daily Report - Tuesday 🐾
Good morning.
It’s another blustery day here on Islay.
Fortunately, I’m nice and cosy in my pyjamas.
No sign of Hareold or Ruairidh this morning.
Even Fergus Pheasant has taken shelter.
Very sensible.
However, more barnacle geese have arrived!
Apparently, around 30,000 of them visit Islay for the winter.
All the way from Greenland!
That’s an awfully long journey.
I can’t imagine travelling that far.
Especially without my bed.
They must be exhausted.
I hope they’ve all had their breakfast.
And somewhere comfortable to have a nap.
Personally, I shall be staying right here.
Warm, cosy and keeping an eye on proceedings.
Have a lovely Tuesday, everyone
Cheerio
