The behavior by American spectators — and even some players — at the Ryder Cup today was disgraceful. I am horrified. We are living in an age of Fascist Biff Tannen.
I’m honestly grateful I couldn’t afford the ticket price. Because what I saw was mean, bullying, boorish, and cruel — the rot that Trump has unleashed in this country.
America has never been perfect, but my god, we certainly were better than this. I am disgusted — and we all should be.
