Cotton fields are back according to this lady — and apparently she’s scared. What in the world is wrong with these people? Do they think a white man invented cotton and it was supposed to disappear when slavery ended? Cotton is a crop. It was here before slavery, and it’s still grown in America today. I’m so sick of people waking up crying racism and slavery over everything they see. Not everything is racist. At some point, get over it and stop trying to turn every single thing into something it’s not.

My very Caucasian mother-in-law picked cotton growing up in Arkansas. My husband's paternal grandmother (white) worked the strawberry and cotton fields. We have a photo of her at age 5 and her entire family with their baskets and sacks in front of the field they had just worked.

How is it possible any sober adult could think that cotton no longer exists?? Do they not wear clothes? Use towels? Cotton is a basic staple everywhere on earth. Did that person just emerge from centuries of being locked in a pod? Are they new to earth??

She thinks we needed black folks to grow cotton? Or did she think cotton fields had been banned in the US because of “the implications” 😂

I mean, does she not want to wear clothes? Does she not want to wash herself? What is she gonna cover up with at night? I got many other examples of her stupidity.

Doesn't this idiot know cotton farmers have a more efficient ways to pick and unseed cotton better than humans? It's called the cotton harvester.

My granny & her sisters grew up on a farm growing cotton & peanuts in MS. When they got old a cousin farmed it for them. This was hilarious & this lady is dumb as a cotton ball.

Of all the crops the farmer behind me grows, cotton is by far the prettiest one to see come up. Sorry, not sorry!

I was just driving to the NC beach and passed by the Gildan t-shirt factory, nestled into miles of cotton fields - I didn't see a single slave out there in those cotton fields. Not one. I was baffled.

Anyone want to tell her that : - Sheets, bedding are made of cotton? - Her clothing likely has some cotton blend in it. - Her granny undies are likely cotton. - The wrapping layer in casts for broken limbs is made of cotton. - Large bandages for wounds...cotton. That just begins the list. And guess what, someone has to plant and pick all that cotton, only these days it's done by harvesting equipment.

Hand picking cotton disappeared and replaced with mechanical harvester’s by 1970, 56 years ago. Pathetic race pandering desperation.

These people say that they're against slavery and yet they want illegal immigrants to come in who are paid less than Americans . They let other people become indentured servants. As long as someone supports them they don't care about anybody but themselves. Cotton is a valuable crop.

I’m white. My dad is too. As a kid, he picked cotton with his family. My grandfather was a sharecropper in Texas who couldn’t read or write. My dad went to college. Our “Future” is truly is how much you want something. How much are you willing to create your own future!
