An estimated 825,000 children under five are expected to suffer from Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM). The scale of human suffering in UAE’s war on the country, now in its fourth year, according to the IRC accounts for over 10% of the entire world's global humanitarian need.

🚨 WCK Inquest Update In August the Israeli military said there would be no criminal case over the killing of three former British soldiers who were working as aid workers in Gaza. A week later the colonel who gave the order went on television and said he wasn't sorry. Today a British coroner said she is minded to make that colonel, Nochi Mendel, and the IDF Interested Persons in the inquest into the deaths of James Kirby, John Chapman and Jim Henderson. I am the solicitor for James Kirby's family. My clients have waited two and a half years for an answer. What today means is that Colonel Mendel and the IDF can now take part, see the evidence and give their account, in a court that will properly examine what happened. James's family would like to hear from him. On the family's behalf we have also asked the Coroner to bring in the MoD, the FCDO and Elbit Systems, and to establish whether an RAF aircraft over Gaza that day passed information to the IDF. Those questions remain open.

Her husband returned from three months in Sde Teiman prison physically and mentally affected by the torture he experienced there, and he now depends on psychiatric medication and is unable to work or care for the family. Nozha, who went through a high-risk pregnancy with diabetes and high blood pressure, has been carrying the responsibility of supporting the entire household alone while they struggle with hunger, malnutrition, lack of medicine, accumulated tent land rent, and no steady source of income.
