Everything you thought you knew about the pagers attack was just barely scratching the surface.
Last night I finished watching "The Trap," directed by @radwanmortada.
The Zionist entity has portrayed the September 2024 pagers and walkie-talkie attacks as one of the greatest military-intelligence feats in history. But behind that public narrative of victory is overcompensation for an operational failure.
Without a doubt, the attacks were one of the worst blows dealt to the Lebanese resistance in its history, and reflected serious intelligence shortcomings.
But the years of investigations in this new documentary reveals that the true Zionist plot was far, far more devastating, and the relentless investigations and discoveries made by one Hezbollah engineer thwarted that plot and prevented tens of thousands of more casualties.
The pagers were detonated early because Hezbollah, suspecting tampering, began to withdraw them from the field. Despite the losses, the true Zionist objective of completely dismantling Hezbollah with the click of a button failed, and today the organization still endures, rebuilds, and resists.

The CIA wanted Ben Shapiro’s uncle, Zalman Shapiro, and NUMEC investigated while American weapons-grade uranium was missing and Isræl was secretly building its nuclear arsenal.
Hoover’s FBI investigated.
But the CIA later recorded an astonishing omission:
“Apparently no mention was made of the passage of nuclear material to a foreign government.”
Think about that.
The investigation concerned missing nuclear material and Isræl. Yet according to the CIA’s retrospective, the FBI NEVER asked Shapiro whether he had transferred nuclear material to a foreign government.
Then Hoover discontinued the active investigation.
Helms pushed again, but the FBI again rejected further investigation, with Helms saying:
“This was not done.”
Then the CIA memorandum ended with:
“There was no further FBI reporting on the case after that.”
The investigation below follows this beyond NUMEC because Hoover’s record of shutting down investigative avenues did not begin or end with Isræl’s nuclear program.
After JFK was assassinated, Hoover himself covered it up and said his principal concern was getting something issued so:
“we can convince the public that Oswald is the real assassin.”

Scholars have argued that Kamala Harris falls within the Biden administration’s “accessorial liability” for “complicity in genocide,” a punishable act under Article III(e) of the Genocide Convention. One says the ICC should pursue those responsible under Articles II and III. An ICC conviction could carry up to 30 years or life imprisonment. Under US law, aiding and abetting genocide is punishable as the principal offense, which can carry life imprisonment or when deaths result, the death penalty.
⭕️ Kamala Harris supported continued US military aid to Israel throughout the genocide in Gaza and refused to endorse an arms embargo, including when pressed during her 2024 presidential campaign.
➤ A US federal judge found in January 2024 that Israel's conduct in Gaza plausibly constitutes genocide, imploring the administration to reconsider its "unflagging support," in a case brought against Biden, Blinken and Austin. Days earlier, the ICJ had ordered Israel to prevent genocidal acts, triggering every state party's own duty to prevent genocide under the Genocide Convention.
➤ Harris still continued publicly backing military aid and declined to support an arms embargo through the end of the campaign. She voiced concern for Palestinian civilians, but never opposed the weapons transfers sustaining the deliberate civilian killings.
➤ Accepting the nomination at the Democratic convention on August 22, 2024, Harris vowed to ensure that the US military remains the “most lethal fighting force in the world" and that Israel would always have "the ability to defend itself." Twelve days earlier, the UN human rights office reported it had recorded Israeli strikes on at least 21 different schools sheltering displaced Palestinians in just one month since July 4, killing at least 274 people. These were schools in “safe areas” Israel had instructed Palestinians to flee to after ordering them out of their homes.
➤ Economist Dan Steinbock, author of The Obliteration Doctrine: Genocide Prevention, Israel, Gaza and the West, argues legal accountability should extend to Harris, invoking Article III of the Genocide Convention, which makes "complicity in genocide" punishable. His book names her directly, describing her as "touting continued military aid to Israel amid the atrocities."
➤ In September 2025, the UN Commission of Inquiry, the Human Rights Council's highest-level investigative body, concluded Israel had committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
➤ By the end of the Biden-Harris term, Gaza’s Health Ministry had recorded 47,035 Palestinians killed. A peer-reviewed Lancet analysis had already estimated that violent deaths likely exceeded 70,000 by October 2024.
Harris has not repudiated the policy of arming Israel or expressed regret for any specific decision she or the administration made during 15 months of live-streamed killings and collective punishment.

When @matthewsyed and @leicesterliz talk about govt borrowing, they're referring to govt bond sales. But there is no obligation on govts to sell bonds. The so-called 'Full Funding Rule' that was introduced by Geoffrey Howe in 1981 required govts to sell bonds to make up the difference between the amount collected in taxes and the amount the govt spends. But taxes do NOT fund govt expenditure because the govt issues the currency, so it has access to as much money as it requires. Consequently, there is no need to sell bonds. The primary purpose of taxation is to keep inflation in check and Howe's 'Full Funding Rule' was designed to further enrich the already wealthy. It's basically corporate welfare and should be abolished.
But what's unforgivable is that the likes of Mathew Syed and Liz Kendall are trying to hoodwink the public into believing that more cuts to the UK's social security system are necessay. But it's already one of the most parsimonious in Western Europe.
When will Newsnight ever invite some guests who will counter the sort of economic illiteracy that was on offer tonight?

So slick. UNSG Guterres tries to make invisible a one-state solution in which everyone in historic Palestine is treated equally.
He stresses the need for a "clear, clear affirmation that there is no alternative to the two-state solution. A one-state solution in which the Palestinian people would have no rights and many of them would be kicked out of their lands is something completely unacceptable in the 21st century."
