Bybit CEO Ben Zhou: Cryptoassets Are Moving From Trading Tools to Global Financial Infrastructure Ben Zhou, Co-Founder and CEO of Bybit, spoke at the closed-door “Family Office Dinner: The Future of Asset Tokenization”, co-hosted by FutureOne MENA and the @dmcccrypto Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, as a warm-up to the 2026 Hong Kong Consensus Conference. Ben highlighted a critical shift in global digital asset management: cryptoassets are evolving beyond trading tools into core components of the global financial system. Bybit, he noted, is transforming from a single trading platform into a broader financial service provider, The New Financial Platform. He also shared how compliant real-world asset (RWA) tokenization is unlocking new liquidity, yield structures, and balance-sheet efficiency, with Middle Eastern family offices already using tokenization to convert low-liquidity assets into divisible, tradable digital instruments. “Compliance-led, high-quality RWA tokenization will be the bridge connecting traditional capital with the digital financial ecosystem,” Ben concluded.
