29 out of 30 dermatology departments won't know what to do with a chronic itch patient. They will say, “No one here sees those patients.” Not because the science isn't there. This is not a biology problem. We have bona fide itch drugs. What we don't have is a system built to prescribe them to the people who need them. That's the gap. Not biology. Infrastructure. And that gap is clear evidence of something bigger: innovation in therapeutics is now outpacing the training and knowledge of physicians. The drugs got here faster than the workforce did. The drug science outpaced the board exams. The residency programs can’t keep up. My own science debunked test questions that I had to answer “wrong” to get licensed. This is in 2026 and with science that was produced and disseminated manually. Now with AI, how can physicians who are already behind, keep up with the innovation? The future is already here. Medicine needs multiple revolutions.

I'm getting a Costco membership even though I don't need one. My friend had Stage 4 cancer. Costco kept her employed for 2 years after her diagnosis manageable shifts, just so she'd keep her health benefits, which were excellent. She passed away recently. Costco is now covering a full year of COBRA premiums for her 3 sons. Costco retained DEI under pressure in 2025 with 98% of shareholders backing them, and offers starting wages at $20/hr. Pulling all Callaway? Just icing on the cake.
