Bittensor subnet 41 @almnc_ai is having a killer September. Why? Their @Polymarket volume is through the roof and increasing daily. (pic below). What does that mean for Almanac alpha holders? - 1% of all fees from trading are put into buybacks - for context, they went from $11M to $12M in fees in 5 days. $10k buyback. This was on Sept 15th. - they then went from $12M to $13M in 3 days. Another $10k in buy backs. This was on Sept 19th. So far Almanac has bought back 515 bittensor:native and the buyback volume is increasing weekly (as noted above per Polymarket volume). The 515 bittensor:native equates to over 78,000 alpha burned. This is fantastic for alpha holders and miners. Almanac also has over 300 miners. This is a true Bittensor subnet. They also have around 11% of alpha locked, but they said they are focusing more on the burn to satisfy alpha holders and miners (as of now). People always want to hold subnets generating revenue and performing buybacks. This is one of them and the flywheel is flywheeling.

According to the SEC: Buying tokens off the market to manage treasury, or reduce supply is treated as ordinary operations and is fine. Marketing buybacks as a profit mechanism can be treated as selling an "investment" and are not fine.
