This reasoning lacks an understanding of why people pursue a skill in the first place.
I used to think this way: Why won't artists use Ai to augment their skills then I realized that eliminates the whole point of doing art in the first place.
The REAL reason people hate AI:
they feel threatened and are scared that they don’t know where they will fit in this new world. Like many of us, they have attached their identity and worth to their skill.
There is also cognitive dissonance. To watch something you spent years mastering replicated by a robot in seconds.
All to say is the AI debate is simply a struggle of human emotion. I am certain that if these same people truly invested in it, they would find that their creativity would expand.
