In 2019, I brought my HB 16 to the House floor — simply ensuring that a living infant who survives an abortion would receive treatment and life-saving medical care.
James Talarico and Jon Rosenthal shockingly voted against the bill.
Gina Hinojosa and Vikki Goodwin refused to vote for it as well, registering “Present Not Voting”.
There are countless examples demonstrating just how radical and out of step with Texas values the leaders of the Democrat ticket truly are. But in my book, their votes on this bill should be Exhibit A.
