Her father, he said, was charged only with sex with a minor. Robinson also claimed reported rapes in Britain have climbed from 8,000 two decades ago to 88,000, a rise he attributed to immigration from what he called cultures hostile to women. Not everyone in Trafalgar Square agreed. A woman passing the rally shouted that the group was racist, telling Alexa that roughly 90 per cent of rapists in Britain are white British men who are typically known to their victims. Robinson countered that such accusations of 'racism' have created a climate in which people are afraid to speak out. Robinson also told Alexa that police arrived at his home at roughly 3 a.m. that morning with a warning of a “real and immediate risk” to his life. While providing very limited information on the threat, the officer informed Robinson that police advice was that he take steps to mitigate any risk, such as upgrading his home security or temporarily relocating. The officer cautioned that he could be prosecuted if he carried a weapon or took any “unlawful” action to protect himself. “We can’t keep you safe. Also, you’re not allowed a weapon to defend yourself,” he said, summarizing the notice. “What a mad world.” Asked for a message to Canadians, Robinson urged them to learn from Britain’s mistakes. “Be brave.
