West Yorkshire Police Appeal | New Hey Road, near Outlane, Huddersfield HD3: severely emaciated dog with "fighting" injuries found dumped at the side of a country road.
In a Facebook post shared yesterday, West Yorkshire PC Tony Burn wrote that the dog "was noticed at the side of the road on New Hey Road above Outlane. Clearly she hadn't been there long and appears to have had a horrific life, appearing very emaciated and with fresh injuries to suggest she will more than likely have been a fighting dog.
"She likely lost the fight and was dumped at the side of the road like a piece of rubbish."
The dog is microchipped but not registered to anyone.
If anyone has any information, please get in contact with West Yorkshire Police on 101 and quote log 1126 of 21/02/25.
