I used to think the word “VIP” was pretty straightforward.
☞ You use the platform more.
☞ You trade more.
☞ You hold more.
Eventually, you get rewarded for being a valuable user.
Then I came across the new MEXC VVIP setup and one detail made me stop.
You can enter the programme without the usual asset or trading-volume requirements.
So, since I'm already familiar with MEXC VVIP, I had to put my friend on.
“So you're telling me I can get VIP without first trading some crazy volume?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.
“There's a little more to it than that,” I told him with a laugh. “You start at Standard.”
“Wait, Standard is a VIP level?” he asked, looking genuinely confused.
“Yeah. It's one of the VVIP levels,” I replied.
“Okay, so how do I get into Standard?” he asked, leaning closer.
“That's the easy part,” I told him. “New users get an initial 350 M-Score after their first full day on the platform.”
“Hold on. 350?” he asked, almost cutting me off.
“Yep,” I replied with a nod.
“Just like that?” he asked, still trying to process it.
“After your first full day, yes,” I told him.
“So I don't have to trade some crazy amount first?” he asked.
“No specified asset or trading-volume requirement for that starting point,” I explained.
He paused for a second.
“Okay, so what do I actually get with Standard?”
Now he was asking the right question.
I told him about the MEXC Card cashback.
“Wait. Cashback?” he asked, suddenly more interested.
“Yep. Even at Standard,” I answered with a smile.
“How much?” he asked.
“At 350 to 599 M-Score, Standard users can receive 4% cashback on eligible purchases, with a monthly cashback cap of 100 USDT.”
“Okay. That's actually decent,” he said, nodding.
“And it gets better as your M-Score goes up,” I added.
Then I showed him the three VVIP levels.
☞ Standard: 350–599 M-Score ⟶ 4% cashback ⟶ 100 USDT monthly cap
☞ Premier: 600–799 M-Score ⟶ 6% cashback ⟶ 300 USDT monthly cap
☞ Elite: 800+ M-Score ⟶ 10% cashback ⟶ 800 USDT monthly cap
“So the higher my M-Score, the better the benefits?” he asked, scanning the figures.
“Exactly,” I told him.
“Then what decides my M-Score?” he asked, looking back at me.
“MEXC looks at different parts of your activity and account,” I explained.
⤷ Trading activity.
⤷ Platform activity.
⤷ Security credit.
“Can the score change?” he asked.
“Yeah. It's settled daily and reflected the following day,” I told him.
“And if I cross into another range?” he asked.
“Your VVIP level can change too,” I replied.
He looked back at the cashback figures.
“Wait. So how do they know which cashback rate I get?” he asked.
“The cashback rate for a calendar month is based on your actual VVIP level on the last day of that month,” I explained.
“So if I'm Standard for most of the month and move to Premier before the month ends?” he asked.
“Your level on the last day is what matters for that month's cashback rate,” I told him.
“Ahh. I get it now,” he said.
Cashback is calculated monthly and distributed to your Spot account by the 15th of the following month.
Refunded or reversed transactions can also affect the cashback you receive.
He sat back and looked at the numbers again.
“So basically, I can start at Standard, get a benefit, then work my way up?” he asked.
“That's the idea,” I told him.
“You don't have to start at Elite?” he asked, sounding almost surprised.
“Nope,” I replied.
And that was the part I wanted him to understand.
When people hear “VIP”, they usually think about the gate first.
⤷ How much do I need to trade?
⤷ How much do I need to hold?
⤷ What do I need before I qualify?
With MEXC VVIP, the starting point is 350 M-Score after your first full day.
That puts you in Standard.
From there, your M-Score can change, your VVIP tier can change, and the benefits attached to that tier can change with it.
So 350 isn't some number you need to stare at and wonder what it means.
It's your entry point.
You get into Standard, see what comes with it, and then decide how much the higher tiers matter to you.
And that's really why I had to put my friend on.
The interesting part isn't simply that there's a VVIP programme.
It's that you can start from Standard and actually have something to use from there.
You don't have to begin at the top.
You just need to know where you're starting.
So now I'm curious.
If you were already sitting at Standard, which VVIP benefit would actually make you want to move up?
