🍿Now that the High Mileage Model 3 is back from its trip to Hamilton, Ontario, 🇨🇦, let's break down the stats of the road trip. Winkler ➡️ Hamilton (🇨🇦 route) Distance: 2,357 km (1,465 miles) Total Charges: 24 Total Cost: $139.65 CAD ($102.47 USD) Hamilton ➡️ Winkler (🇺🇸 route) Distance: 2,260 km (1,404 miles) Total Charges: 13 Total Cost: $171.21 CAD ($125.62 USD) The trip was a success and the drive home was made much, much easier with the new LFP battery pack. The guys were able to take advantage of the faster charging while also being able to drive 75-80 mph as opposed to doing the Canadian route where the speed limit was limited to 55 mph for a large chunk of the drive due to that part of the Trans Canada being two lane highway. Full cost of repair work done to Model 3 along with Dan and Dusty's thoughts on their first EV road trip through some of the most challenging parts of the Trans Canada Highway are to come later this month in our battery swap YouTube video.

It’s been 76 days since we gave away this 2019 Model 3 that has 610,000 kms on it. Today it finally heads over to its owner in California. Dusty and I are going to fly down there in a couple weeks and deliver it to the winner. (FYI, yes it took almost 3 months for this car to clear customs to be exported from Canada to California 😂)

Just completed a battery health test on my 2026 Model Y Launch Series. Just crossed 38,000 miles. It’s been on a bunch of road trips and seen a huge amount of DC fast charging. I feel like the battery retention of 94% is pretty good given the fact newer cars have reported much worse results.

And hopefully in a couple years, our Model 3 gets the same celebration! @mylestoamillion
