Why did the auto industry build facilities in Canada? Glad you asked. Ford and Mclaughin/GM initially built plants in 1904 and 1907 respectively to avoid...get this now... HIGH IMPORT TARIFFS that the canadian government placed on American autos. 1904. High import tarrifs. From Canada. On American vehicles. Canada became a large producer of vehicles even though the plants were inefficient. Because of HIGH TARIFFS on American goods. The auto pact of 1965 did away with tarrifs but forced the companies to maintain a certain level of production to be duty free. In the 80's overseas automakers built plants in Canada to avoid export restrictions and avoid trade barriers. Much like Canada allowing China to dump plywood in their country to avoid similar conditions. They did not build these plants to serve the Canadian market, they built them to flood the American market. Canadian tarrif and trade policy has a long history of being anti American.

There is nothing to "clean up," you lying pile of decomposing journovermin feces. He clearly and unambiguously did NOT SAY what you are libelously claiming he said. This is the "very fine people hoax" redux. You members of the Democrat/Media Complex are very, very, VERY evil people.
Trump and his allies are going to try desperately to clean up his completely insane comments last night about Los Angeles and San Diego being blown up. Don’t listen to them. They’ve been trying to sanitize and normalize this dangerous rhetoric for a decade now.

TRANSLATION FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT SPEAK COMMIE: "Trump is eliminating illegal alien, non-citizens from the voter rolls and SCOTUS affirmed this effort."
🚨BREAKING: In a dangerous decision for voters, the Supreme Court authorized the Trump administration to overhaul a federal immigration database into a vast, centralized and deeply flawed database of personal information to initiate registration purges. democracydocket.com/news-ale…

Wisconsin has about 4.7 million voting-age adults. The voter database is sitting at 8 million names. Only 3.6 million of those can actually vote. The rest are dead, moved, or “inactive.” And they still act shocked anyone wants cleaner rolls. 🙄

Former Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon became a media superstar after going public with his AI fears. He insisted that he wasn’t working with any third party organizations. Familiar sources told us a different story: DEY., a PR firm representing many of the most prominent AI safetyists, was booking his interviews. One source, who had direct knowledge, even said DEY. preemptively booked Nate Soares, a prominent AI safety figure, for interviews that directly overlapped with Jacob going public. Jacob working with DEY. is notable for two reasons: first, as mentioned, he previously said he wasn’t working with third parties. Second, we are in the middle of a national conversation about the future of AI that is actively determining how we regulate the most powerful technology in the world, largely thanks to the panic stirred up by Jacob — and it’s in the public’s interest to know who, exactly, is behind it. A “moderate” Democrat just admitted his real goal out loud. Rep. Tom Suozzi (D-NY): “My biggest desire, my biggest goal of what I want to accomplish in politics right now, is I want to legalize seven or eight or nine or 10 million people in our country, so they will not be subject to deportation.” He’s not some fringe progressive. He’s the guy the media calls a moderate. If that’s what “moderate” looks like on immigration, what does the rest of the party actually believe? Does this sound moderate to you? breitbart.com/immigration/20…

This will leave a burr under your saddle: @LeaderJohnThune , the most disliked man ‘claiming’ to be Republican on Capitol Hill, has shelved important legislature failing to pass voter integrity as well as continuing to send $40,000,000 dollars every week to the Taliban, although The No Tax Dollars for Terrorists Act (H.R. 260) passed the House, and was received in the U.S. Senate on June 24, 2025. Yes, Loser Thune has been ignoring the bill to stop more than $160,000,000 of your hard earned money every month from going to terrorists. Thune has given more paid days off to the Senate and caused fewer bills to pass than any Congress in history. He presently has 700, (yes, I repeat 700) bills sent by the Congressional House, languishing on his desk. Now Community Notes calls out his lies! See below!👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼🤬
Republicans have spent the last two years delivering on our agenda. More money in your pocket. Safer streets. More opportunities to get ahead. Democrats have spent much of the last two years opposing our goals at every turn.
Community note
The 119th congress was the least productive in history - No congress has enacted less legislation or laws. Johnson has cancelled a total 63 scheduled voting days in the house, granting members an extra 2 months PTO, with no house votes scheduled until after the election. govtrack.us/congress/bills… ms.now/news/dhs-shutd… snopes.com/fact-check/mik… cbsnews.com/news/house-can…

Very well stated. Leela is a con artist.
You were branched as a Finance officer and later became a public affairs officer. In the Reserves. Your highest award is a DMSM. Look, as a career logistics officer myself I always preach one team, one fight, but not when someone like you--who is supported by the cretinous, Soros-funded, "VoteVets"--crawls out of the Deep State slime to smear actual combat veterans like Hegseth. Pete Hegseth's pinky finger knows more about leading troops in wartime than your DSA sell-out brain will ever comprehend, and the closest your pinky ever got to heroism is a paper cut. So how about you put a sock in it, you DEI-installed, Commie faux-general? Beat it.

If you see something, say something. It still applies.
YOU are one of law enforcement’s most powerful resources. No tip is too small. No piece of information is insignificant. Your information helps us dismantle criminal networks, hunt down thugs, take guns and drugs off our streets, and put dangerous criminals behind bars or out of our country. Under President Trump, law enforcement is BACKED — not defunded. We will keep going into sanctuary cities. We will keep pursuing drug traffickers. We will keep taking violent criminals off our streets. America is not a police state. We are a nation defended by police, law and order. And to every Angel mom and dad: your stories land with us. They fuel this FBI every single day. The mission is simple — keep fighting until no American family has to suffer that pain again. -DKP 🇺🇸

There is more to the Greenland deal than some want to admit. NATO is a paper tiger without active U.S. involvement. Read U.S. money and defense systems.
The Greenland deal is bigger than Greenland. Childers’ argument is that Trump just attacked one of the biggest practical constraints on any credible American threat to walk away from NATO. Buried in Article XIV of the 1951 U.S.-Denmark Greenland defense agreement is the clause that matters: the agreement was created in implementation of the North Atlantic Treaty and would remain in effect “for the duration of the North Atlantic Treaty.” That meant Greenland was tied to the NATO architecture. And Greenland is no minor bargaining chip. America’s Arctic access, missile-warning coverage and northern defense position run through it. A threat to leave NATO carried a potentially enormous strategic cost if Washington also put those rights at risk. Now the board has shifted. The new U.S.-Denmark-Greenland agreement, if finalized as announced, significantly expands the American military presence, bars adversarial bases and sensitive investments, and is intended to remain in force even if Greenland becomes independent. That is why Rubio’s earlier warning suddenly lands differently. After European governments blocked U.S. use of certain bases during the Iran conflict, Rubio called NATO a “one-way street” and said America might have to “reexamine the value” of the alliance. Childers’ point is devastatingly simple: Europe could discount that threat while Washington remained strategically dependent on the old Greenland arrangement. That dependency is exactly what this deal is designed to weaken. This does not establish that America is leaving NATO. It establishes something strategically more immediate: Washington’s ability to threaten a different relationship with NATO becomes far more credible when a critical Arctic security position is no longer hanging from the same old thread. Europe spent decades assuming America’s chair at NATO was bolted to the floor. Greenland just loosened the bolts. (article below)
