It was thoroughly enjoyable to attend the United States Department of Agriculture One Big Beautiful Breakfast event in Washington, D.C. as part of America's 250th Anniversary celebrations with fellow farmers, ranchers and patriots including Sayde Lowe, a fellow Murray State University agriculture major. Additionally, it was a pleasure to join Senator Joni Ernst (Iowa) and Congressman Austin Cook (Georgia) who are Champions for American agriculture to show our support for farmers and ranchers. Secretary Rollins presided over an all star list of speakers praising the greatness and heritage of American farmers, ranchers and agribusiness. Note the photo of the Memorial to USDA Military Veterans who served and sacrificed, prominently positioned in the USDA main building atrium - God Bless them and their families. The USDA plays a significant role in shaping our economy through various programs and policies that impact far more than farmers and ranchers including rural economic development programs that benefit Kentucky's 4th Congressional District's diverse economic ecosystem. I look forward to joining the Kentucky GOP Delegation and other like minded Senators and Representatives to work with the President, the USDA and Secretary Rollins' Team and be a Champion for Kentucky Congressional District 4 and the Commonwealth in Washington

Activity Report from The Circle G Farm! 🚜 Big milestone: Loading out custom rolled alfalfa round bales of hay! Loading hay is both an art and a science. There are some best practices and techniques to safely load and transport round bales that hay producers apply that you learn on the farm - sometimes the hard way (lol). (You may have seen a round hay bale or two along a rural highway from time to time: That is lost product [resources] and it can create a safety problem.) This is another example of the diversity of skills a farmer must have, similar to other business owner/operators they must be multi-skilled, they don't have the luxury of just doing one thing. Did you know that the state of Kentucky ranks 4th in hay production in the Nation? Harvesting over 2,000,000 acres annually? Hay production (which includes a number of varieties such as fescue, orchard grass, bluegrass, and alfalfa, among others) is a key component of livestock production. This is another reason why Kentucky Cattlemen rank number 1 in the Nation in beef production east of the Mississippi River, and Number 8 in the Nation overall! In Washington, I'll commit to working long and hard to be a Champion for Kentucky Congressional District 4 to support businesses and unleash our diverse economic ecosystem across our 21 counties! I will work closely with the President, the Republican Party and my fellow Kentucky Delegation members to cut taxes, reduce government regulations and eliminate harmful policies, identify and stop the fraud that we see across the Nation that is robbing our families of their hard-earned income, educate and train our workforce so they can obtain good-paying jobs that are fulfilling careers that provide long term stability for them and their families and foster prosperity for our communities.

A major severe storm rolled through the region last night and negatively impacted communities throughout Northern Kentucky causing extensive damage. Join me in praying for everyone’s safety as we dig out of its aftermath, and pray for the welfare of our fearless first responders and utility workers who are selflessly serving us demonstrating again that we come together and are Kentucky strong when we face such crucibles!

Congratulations to Northern Kentucky University, the University of Kentucky and all the visionary leaders in Northern Kentucky who worked together to make Thursday’s historic groundbreaking for the Chase College of Law and Medical School facility possible. This is another example of Northern Kentucky being a hub of innovation supported by the region’s elected officials as well as leaders throughout the area. I look forward to working with them when elected to make our Commonwealth and Kentucky Congressional District 4 a great place to live, learn and work.

Activity Report from The Circle G Farm! 🚜 Here we are moving hay bales out of the hayfield. While it might look picturesque for the hay bales to be left in the hayfield, the best practice is to remove them as rapidly as possible so as to not allow the desirable forage growth to be suppressed and killed within a matter of days which will result in weed growth where the hay bale sat. Accordingly, the best practice is to move the hay bales out of the field because hay producer farmers are already counting the days until their next cutting, and every day of growth counts.  (Note: Large round hay bales can weigh 1,500 pounds or more.) In Washington, I'll commit to working long and hard to be a Champion for Kentucky Congressional District 4 to unleash our diverse economic eco-system across our 21 counties! I will work closely with the President, the Republican Party and my fellow Kentucky Delegation members to cut taxes, reduce government regulations and eliminate harmful policies, identify and stop the fraud that we see across the Nation that is robbing our families of their hard-earned income, provide resources to educate and facilitate the training of our workforce so they can obtain good-paying jobs that are fulfilling careers and provide long-term stability for them and their families.

It was a pleasure to attend the Erlanger Business Council meeting today with key civic and business leaders from Kenton County.   Kenton County Judge Executive Knochelmann provided a strategic overview of the state of the County including highlights of past and future achievements with a Q&A session.  Governing is a team sport that requires collaboration and cooperation across community, state and federal government, as well as with the businesses and the charities that serve their communities. I look forward to working with Judge Knochelmann and the leaders of Kenton County as your next Congressman.

I have served this nation before, and I am ready to serve again. My service to my country reflects the dedication, grit, and tenacity I will bring to Congress. I will fight every day for the people of Kentucky, stand up for our values, and put our nation first. Kentucky deserves a leader who listens to the people, puts service above self, and fights for what is best for our Commonwealth and our nation—not for personal interests or political ego.
