Okay, this is the best way to explain why AI Slop is not what you think. By using AI Denzel Washington to explain it all. This is actually really good. Well written, directed and generated. It's about you not needing the studios anymore.

Got to love MiniMax-H3, makes this kind of thing almost too easy.

"There's no way you can write a ten page paper without chatGPT" WE COULD LITERALLY DO EVERYTHING THAT EVER HAPPENED IN HUMAN HISTORY WITHOUT CHATGPT WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT.

I had Fable build another thing I always wanted, a full procedural fantasy kingdom generator with economics, trade routes, population growth, wars, lineages, and occasional dragons. First, I worked with it on a plan, then it made it. You can play it here: annals-kingdom.netlify.app/

Seeddance is forcing me into learning about animation in ways I never considered before. The need for comprehensive storyboards is viscerally clear. Soooo much history never before told though, can't wait for people much better than me to work with this stuff.

Gossip Goblin is arguably the best AI filmmaker in the world. His new film THE PATCHWRIGHT is a masterpiece (10M+ views). But nobody knows how he actually makes these. Until now. He let me share every step of the workflow with you 🧵👇 x.com/Gossip_Goblin/status/2…

This is a trend worth noticing.

By observing the actions of Nvidia, AMD, and Intel… The consumers are not the target customer. Corporations boast record profits yet wages are up only 1% over the last year. Corporations don’t need you as a customer, their new customer base is either another corporation or a government. If you replace workers with AI, all those jobs earnings get consolidated under the model providers roof instead of distributed. Therefore consumer focused development dwindles and new ways of monetizing your data becomes the focus. For example the partnering of Nvidia and Palantir. A company that built its business on gaming partners up with a surveillance and data quantification company with the dreams of Government contracts tied to corporate sidestepping of individual rights. Now the gov can buy surveillance from a corporation and they didn’t violate the constitution because you agreed to the terms of service.

MMMBop Comes Around (Johnny Cash x Hanson) This started out as a joke mashup but then I decided I actually kind of liked it.

Had to do just one more, from The Lion in Winter, though it just can't pronounce Poutou correctly.

A bit of script from Red Dwarf, with no visual cues at all.

This was staggeringly easy with Sora 2. Transition between the two generations isn't seamless but I expect that's just down to experience. I watched Star Butterfly with my daughter and the ending never sat right with me.

Suno V5! Of course I didn't read the songs in Lord of the Rings, who does that? All the same this almost makes them tolerable.

Good grief. I'm probably late to the game but Midjourney's omnireference function has put a huge dent into the character consistency problem. Wow.

Yes we're all done with ghiblification but wow, what they did with image creation in 4o is groundbreaking. Sure it's all just reskins for now but the point where all of human history opens up for creation without studios just got closer. Music: youtu.be/Xtt78SW-mgg
